Sissoko getting alot of the ball in positions where things can happen but he's too slow with his thinking. Big gap in the middle that Toby usually fills I don't see any way into this for us. Our front 3 can't complete a successful triangle of passing. Poor...at 1 down I would have said a boot up the arse will sort them, 2 down...game over if you ask me as we seem devoid of ideas. Can only see Son coming on as an aggressive move from us and maybe we can get something from his unpredictability.
Both offsides were close. Dean clearly signalled that Sanchez pulled Sanchez's shirt. Which he didn't. I don't mind refs missing things but making things up is incompetence.
Far to early to be throwing in the towel. Arsenal will be feeling great and will find it hard to maintain there level of committedness. Spurs have it all to prove now, the second half will completely different.
Winks should be playing instead of Sissoko. Sissoko has had the ball in influential areas but he doesn't have the brain

Totally agree. And even if Son comes on, I can only see that being for Kane, who has barely been in the game. Son needs his partnership to get the best out of him. Therefore I don’t see him making a difference today. I expect arsenal to park the bus for the first 15, and wait for us to push everything forward before dealing us the sucker punch. We got it wrong today. Their wing backs have easily contained Davies and Trippier, and they’ve set themselves up to press us centrally where they know we’ll have to play the ball. Simple stuff, but it’s happening AGAIN this season. 45 minutes to go for it, but changes are needed.
I don't think we should bleat too much about offsides Arsenal were more up for this than we have been. The Sanchez/Sanchez decision was poor but they still deserve their lead. We need to come back at them fast.
Awful desicion by the ref for the first goal but we have got to defend better on the set piece. We have been awful goinf gorward, particulary in the early stages of the half. We just cant keep clean seheets against the to sides. We need to show real character now.
Usually he doesn’t have the technical ability, but today that’s been quite good. Can’t win!! Doesn’t matter how much he may have improved, it’s still not good enough, IMO.
