Finally diced carrot for a ragu and then sliced mushrooms to that to become Bolognese.
Also diced pancetta prior to your onions and garlic. I'd have three garlic cloves, actual red wine instead of wine vinegar, and add a bay leaf while you simmer.

She uses butternut squash instead of carrots and got to say that also works a treat.

Fair enough, I'm just not a huge fan of pork full stop.

I'm not myself but it works in this dish well, worth a try if you fancy a change. The old spag bol is very much something we've latched onto in the UK it's a family fav no doubt.

I wouldn't use miced pork either.

Diced pancetta is definitely recommended though. Fry that first till crisp and then take out and cook the onion and garlic before putting back in with minced beef.

This is why I posted a recpie I knew everyone would have different views and I like that and might give some a go. I've used it as a dumping ground for leftovers and chucked all sorts in there, courgette was surprisingly nice.

Just made a load of fishcake mix.

Had about a dozen chillies but wasn't sure how many to put in so put them all in :emoticon-0107-sweat:emoticon-0107-sweat

I'll tell everyone I only put a few in, sit back and watch. :emoticon-0130-devil

I posted a nice recipe on the curry thread.

You’ll need to get down to the abbatoir for some big ass prawns.

Do a cold water extraction then you'll have pure codeine. Get all that nasty paracetamol out of them and keep the good stuff.

I've had Tram before it's not my bag. Too heavy. This takes the edge off and I get a good sleep.

I had tramadol when I did my back in. Funny how it works really as it doesn’t really take away the pain, rather it makes you not give a **** about it.

But yeah, no good if you actually want to get on with your day. Tramadol just turns you into a junkie with no cares.
