Seriously, do we really want our kids to see Joey Barton and his ASBO antics? He is a decent player, but is verging on notorious. If he was boring like Paul Scholes nobody would be bothered about him. I would honestly rather play in the championship without the overpaid pantomime villains. Time to tweet Tony Fernandes with a piece of my mind!!

joe barton is a top player and would be a massive addition o our team. as far as attitudes go....adel? neil himself? we should snap him up.
Adel is a bit of abloose cannon, but he is just immature and the captaincy has tamed that a little. Also the premier league will bring him down to earth. Barton is a cheat and a thug. Like a bully at school, just picking on weaker people. Remember when Samba got in his face?! Nearly sh*t himself!! Brilliant.
