The atmosphere in the Terrace was quite frankly **** yesterday. Compared to the atmosphere against Leyton Orient, most people would think we have a a different set of supporters away than at home. I don't why there was a lack of singing behind the goal yesterday, it was a big game, one we could be picking up three points from.
On nights like Tuesday, I felt proud to be a Wanderer, not only because we won away, but because our fans were fantastic.
However, yesterday, I felt we could of shown more support to the team, in a game where we had a chance of picking up maximum points. Instead of mouthing off at Sandell and Halls, we could actually try to get behind the team when we are losing.
Anyway, onwards and upwards, Huddersfield away next week, lets make some noise whatever the score and show that we are proud to support the mighty Blues!

We always have crap atmosphere at home, only away do we have great support because are best drummer is banned from home games. He is the one who creates the atmosphere at away matches and all fl clubs are better atmosphere away matches then home. Bury didn’t sing when they were at home, but when they came to Adams park good atmosphere from them.

I am 100% convinced that the crappy roof on the valley end actually makes the atmosphere worse. The noise we can make with 100-200 fans in a decent away stand sounds far louder than the home terrace even when fairly full. Guess people feel deflated if the noise doesn't reverberate and sound impactful so they give up singing.
Fair play to some of us left siders that keep singing whatever. Our chants may be slightly distorted by alcohol, but we have a go!!

Does anyone remember the right side - left side song we used to sing on the valley terrace? We're the right side, right side, right side over here! One game so many people were singing we got a center side (if thats possible) Nowadays it would be, well it wouldn't because not many people seem to give a toss and just stand there, I only started going to games in 02/03 but quite a few people I used to see every week who used to make a lot of noise no longer attend, its a shame.
