Morning, pilgrims. The big racing news locally is that old boy Martyn Meade is to quit Newmarket and move to the county. Well you can’t blame him. The beautiful barns, the perfect pasture, the galloping gallops, the giant gradients, the Wiltshire wind…‘the county set’!

Apparently he’s set to move towards the end of January and have his first runners in the county March/April time.

White Moon (4.05) looked impressive when he won at Wincanton. I'd be surprised if the penalty will stop him going in again.7/4

 

Didn't see the race, did Yanworth make a mistake or was he hampered?

 

He's very useful. Could be a festival horse.

 

He jumped the fence fine but just didn't get his feet under him.

 

White Moon is a machine, could be a historic animal in the making.

 

ALTIOR to miss the Tingle Creek with a wind problem!
Wind issues are rarely straight forward, I wonder what that might mean for his season.

 

Wind issues are difficult to identify but once done are treatable . Cue card is an obvious example.
