Been saying they are are our three best players. Not just that, but a class apart Imo. A fit Mason, playing to the standards he's shown at spurs would be getting in the England squad. And I qualify that with the likes of Livermore and Jack Cork currently getting in. If Dave continued to progress the way he had been, then there's no reason he couldn't be performing at the level of Trippier, Rose and Bertrand. If not better. Even if he didn't progress, he'd still be a bloody good champ fullback. And I big up Hernandez because he's a proven 20 goal a season championship striker and that's priceless to us. So they'd either be tearing up the championship for us or they'd be gone and a **** off chunk of the debt to the allams would be paid off.
Philip Buckingham@PJBuckingham Evandro was back in action for #hcafc in a behind closed doors game v Bradford City this afternoon. Played 65 minutes.
Nouha Dicko hopeful of leading Hull City attack despite injury scare The City striker had to withdraw from Mali's World Cup qualifier http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/nouha-dicko-hopeful-leading-hull-771373
Long-term injury victim Moses Odubajo is hoping for a return to action in the Spring following a positive meeting with his consultant this week. Odubajo has endured an injury nightmare since damaging his knee in a pre-season friendly against Grimsby Town in July 2016, but has now been able to draft a potential return-to-play pathway with the Club's medical staff. That represents light at the end of the tunnel for the 24-year-old right back, although any predicted return date remains tentative at this stage after such a lengthy lay-off. Fellow long-term injury victim Will Keane, who has now been sidelined for more than a year after suffering knee ligament damage, continues to make good progress although he remains at least a month away from a return to full training. Ryan Mason is continuing with his functional work without a problem and is due to have a further scan on his head/skull in January, while Abel Hernandez is making good progress after rupturing his Achilles in August. The Uruguayan striker is targeting a return to training in early February. Of the more recent injuries picked up, Ondrej Mazuch is expected to return to full training on Wednesday after a hamstring problem, while Jon Toral has started running outdoors again and is two weeks into an anticipated four-to-six-week recovery from a hamstring injury. However, Stephen Kingsley remains some weeks away from a return to action from a complex groin injury as he continues his rehabilitation following surgery.
Assuming we don't see Abel, Mason or Moses this season, which seems likely where are they contractually? Abel's is up at the end of the season so that's probably the last we see of him, but what about the other two? Cheers
They're all up at the end of the season, the ten out of contract players on here... https://www.not606.com/threads/hdm-vote-on-who-should-get-a-new-deal.354913/
I actually think Abel will want to stay, Den. After such a bad injury, clubs won't be taking any risks. But will City offer him a contract he'd be prepared to take?
Aye, he does, I cocked that up. In fact, there's also a few of the other players who've got the 'Ehab's going to trigger another year without telling you' clause.
BBC Humberside Sport @HumbersideSport Hull City have confirmed that 22 year old midfielder James Weir is likely to be out for the rest of the season, after having surgery on a knee injury #hcafc
