Can't say how reliable the sources are but I've now heard from 2 different places that Karanka has agreed to take it and the club are waiting to announce it.

It's a spectrum mate, we just slip further down every time we try to do anything. There's always ways to embarrass ourselves further.

That's some assertion to make. His boring brand of football and our lack of a decent defence make me think its going to take him a long time to mould a team that is effective under his favoured approach.
It's baffling to me how someone could be as erect as Parker is about a manager as dour and uninspiring as Karanka.
So you can discredit them even though I've said I can't say how reliable they are. I've no clue if there's any truth in it but one is apparently someone from the clubs media department and the other was someone who apparently works for the club
It's just my belief. He proved it at Boro and I think he'd get us winning games. I think we've got a good set of players for this level they just need a manager who can instill confidence discipline and organisation and I think thats Karanka. You think it's someone else fair enough
There aren't many managers out there that I could say with certainty would turn us around and I mean including the top ones. Even the likes of Mourinho have been seen to struggle when the going gets tough and we haven't got a fraction of the budget he'd need. I want Pearson but I'd be tentative at best about his chances of sorting us out. Just don't see the appeal of Karanka.
See I don't get that. He went into Boro who were a mess and improved them each year and got them promoted. Is that nt our aim?
