I'll get in early. Bet of the day coeur de lion in the 3.00 win all the wins on soft/ heavy 9/1. Cheers.
Any into on which races are being televised on itv would be greatly appreciated- I have just spent 30 fruitless minutes trying to find directions out. I used to rely more recently on Ron's comp page but there isn't one!
Reebs - go to the Racing Post website, click on "cards" and then the day in question (in this case Saturday). Then scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a link for "Free to air TV races" - click on that to see the races on t' telly
3.00 Wincanton- Charbel- 7/4 Has easily the best hurdle form in th field- if you look at his supreme 5th and the Horses who finished in front of him a champion hurdle winner, The well touted Min, Tombstone and the best thing since sliced bread Altior. Who at the festival was giving him a race before falling at the last, ol he probably wouldn’t have won but who knows! My tissue paper prices I had him fav by about 3 points! So imo this is value, he’s won first time out he last two seasons, so goes well fresh and the stable are in nice form! A big run is expected for a nice prize!
Intresting to see how Pallasator does hurdling tomorrow, 7/4 could be massive value if he can take jumping he is the one to beat. You can currently get 66/1 for him at the festival for either the supreme or what was the Neptune!
My lucky 15 for sat Wizards Sliabh 1 50 win Nap Cooking Fat 2 00 kel Captain Chaos 1 05 ain Charbel 300 win I ve backed the nap on its own, but fancy throwing the others in for a giggle!
Anyone else plagued by a cold they can't shift this last few weeks? Bleeding heckers another night of naff all sleep is really getting on my tits! Had a few bets this week on Royal Line in the November Handicap. I took 7/1, 13/2 and 11/2, 6 places. I'm going to be disappointed if he's not a good deal better than he's shown thus far. Best of luck this weekend chaps.
Everything you say is true but my selection is in receipt of over a stone and has been running well in hot handicaps on the flat.
Bon chic in the 1.40 aintree, a tougher race but a feather weight out of the handicap retains 10lb claimer.
Old boy Gordon Lord Byron has to be worth an ew punt @ 20/1 over at Doncaster, 2.05. Has to concede weight to all his rivals but ground definitely in his favour and he's tough as old boots. He may be 9 years old but his last run when he got within 5 lengths of Limato suggests to me he's got another win in him. He was giving the winner 3lb and the ground definitely favoured the winner. 4 jumps meeting today and I've opted for the flat, sacre bleu! Good luck all.
3 for me today. Muntadab 15/2 1.35 Doncaster Royal Line 11/2 3.15 Doncaster Mr Mix 9/1 3.35 Wincanton
Two bets today for me: Doncaster 3.15pm Niblawi 14/1 each way 6 places Wincanton 3.35pm Southfield Royal 14/1 each way 4 places. Interesting jockey booking for Niblawi and with taking those 7lbs off has to have a good chance. Quite rate that apprentice as it goes.. Southfield Royale is very well handicapped and stays further than the trip which is essential giving the conditions. Fingers crossed trainers other runner doesn't win it!! Good luck all...
Just a warning shot to stick and ste doran - I've not been in receipt of any winners for two days now !! What exactly are you two wasters up to? I'm placing complete faith in you laggards to provide me with an endless stream of winners to featherbed my retirement funds - so be warned - you are both on notice to get back on form immediately elsevretruvution will be swift !! I have swanny and oddy on speed dial - Don't force my hand !! Keep em coming lads - your selections and hard work are much appreciated !!
Pretty workmanlike from Red Jack there and I’m not sure he has beaten all that much. I’d want to see a lot more before considering him a Supreme Novice contender.
Oh dear, Eckbalco, OddDog's definitely OK on speed dial, but not me, that would be disastrous! I'm sure the forum specialists will start again providing the goodies shortly, meanwhile, please look after the kids!
