Super K.J. <ok> I was giving the lad some stick watching it on line... but great move and a great header to get the point.

I actually thought it was a Red card but defo no penalty. Justice that J.W. missed it<doh> Otherwise awful first half and much improved 2nd half.

Sort it out Tony... the midfield isn't anywhwere near good enough. Norwich apart from their goal did hardly anything to threaten us.

We nicked a pt and thanks to KJ that we did. He looked lazy again but, got the goal and a pt was about right.

I saw the saves and if they went in, we'd all be berating him for missing them. They were saves he was expected to make, it doesn't make them great saves if they're saves he's expected to make.

    Norwich fan.
Get a grip please... NO WAY a penalty but... are you saying it wasn't a RED card? Get real.

We deserved the pt Walter's was brought down and I'm actually glad he missed the Penanty. Great move for the Jones goal and I watched the game on line.
Norwich, apart from the goal and ONE really good save from Begovic, you did nothing to suggest that you deserved no more than a point.

    SGT,
    GET a GRIP please...

Walter's was ok today. Ether's too! Woodgate did really well and he tired which, is understandable isn't it?
Shotton was brilliant IMHO anyway.. the midfield ordinary but what's new?
HOW can you rate Walter's with a ZERO F F Sake...

Well said Huthy <ok> I saw all but ten mins of the game thanks to Waddo <applause>

Where did I suggest Etherington DIDN'T play well? I thought he was very good. As was Shotton. I won't GET A GRIP, I will say if I think someone played **** and what I have seen. Walters didn't do a thing right today, I am a massive fan of his but despite his good work rate he didn't do a thing right.

Did you actually see the game mate? No offence but Waddo was right. Walters should not have taken that penalty, it was pretty obvious he was on edge he even re placed the ball! Otherwise I thought his movement was brilliant. He CAN'T score every week sgt? Thank God Jones did...

Norwich fan here, I was at the match and sit roughly on the half way line in the same stand as the Stoke fans would be sitting in.

My opinion is a draw was probably fair. Stoke started better but once Pennant went off they looked devoid of ideas and just pumped long balls to Jones which De Laet and Barnett dealt with easily. First bad decision of the day came when the ref missed blatant hand ball in the area by Naughton. De Laet took his goal well and we deserved to be leading at half time.

Second half obviously hinged on Barnett's sending off. Penalty? Not in a million years. Red card? Harsh, but he was the last man and the rules say he has to go. After that it was all Stoke and they probably deserved their equalizer for sheer persistence.

Over all neither side really created much in front of goal and when they did the keepers weren't really that troubled. So a draw was fair.

I agree with most of that. Still think you deserved the win to be honest.

I watched the game and you are absolutly SPOT ON Mate <applause> Good luck for the season too!
NO Penalty and it was a Red card seen it three or four times now, harsh but rules are rules. WHY he gave the penalty is beyond me too!

sgt, yes you are entitled too your opinions, but i personally think the grades you gave the team on there performance today, were a bit disrespectful too a few players, that was your opinion.

I will not fall out with fellow Stokies, so we will beg to differ on your evaluations of the team.

Au contraire, i find sgt is speaking more sense than most on here.

As for me, my view of it is that it certainly wasn't penalty, it wasn't a red card, it wasn't even a yellow card, it was scarcely a foul, if that.

My take on the matter is more or less covered in this:

    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xkn...ghlights_sport

As for Pulis, his consistant omission of the fact that the upturn in Stokes game, where you 'should have had a handful' (untrue in itself), coincided when you were playing against 10 men (unjustly), was a little frustrating. I respect Stoke, i've long enjoyed seeing you do well in fact against the mumblings of mindless pundits, regardless of the criticism your style of play comes under, but Pulis has plummeted in my estimations after that. Strikes me as very disingenuous.

Spot on mate. I really dont know what planet most of you fellow stokies are on at he the moment. Im always honest and will say that A It wasnt a penalty and B Im not even sure it was a foul and so not a red card!!!. We were absolute ****e today until the 80th minute and if anyone on here thinks that that was good enough then god help us. If any team deserved to win it was Norwich.

Very very poor and just glad to get a point. Where are the people who were saying Glen whelan is good enough? HELLO are you out there? becasue I think that our choice of Central midfielders is terrible.

Sorry to be negative lads but I thought today was really very poor indeed!.

    we need players!!!

That two weeks running we have had shocking pens given against us!
God i thought the refs in league 1 & champ were bad! the prem refs are worse!
They really hate the little team.
Thought you guys were a little lucky today to escape with a point, 11 v 11 dont think you would have got anything.
Good luck in Europe, keep johny forigner at bay.

You views are noted that's your own oppinion fair enough.

I think T.P. did actually say we could/should have scored more and he's quite correct. Jones easy miss, the Penalty that was never a pen Walters and at least one other cross into the box should have been turned home by Huth?

We were lucky that the ref went belly up but blame HIM not Tony Pulis. What I heard him say was about right.

    Chippy,
You will get far more bad decisions this season we all will. As for Europe, we need more player's IF we want to progress I think. Two games a week with our squad is asking too much.

Too right I fully agree we should have made it count.. but we have some very bitter Norwich fans on their board? WE can't be blamed cos a ref is so forkin useless surly?
If I was T.P. I would give the whole team a bloody good rollokin... Yes we had the ball but hey forkin ho, we didn't do that much with it v TEN MEN!

Draw was fair but THAT midfield we have is worse that useless rant over...

If Barnet had cynically brought him down then yes, I would agree it should have been a red card, But there was a defender coming back in the center. Ref obviously decided that he was not going to make it across. That is the ref's decision to make and so no argument there.

My disagreement on the red card was the intent. Barnet was chasing back. The Stoke player got ahead of him and actually ran across Barnet's path tripping over him in the process. What was Barnet supposed to do? stop running?

It was a clash of legs between two running players and the only fair decision would have been a free-kick to Stoke. No card was necessary.

In fact, having just seen it again on MOTD2, I don't even think it was a foul.

I've seen it played slowly on MOTD and it was not a pen, Walters was just in front of his man but barely a foul and not a red card. I HOPE the F.A. recind it.
It won't change the result but, l think a draw was fair enough...
As things usually even out over a season. I hope you get the luck go your way, sooner or later you will.

Anoyed because refs make these errors and they are never punished for them. Today, who knows? You may well have gone on to win the game. That, is why football and more so the ref's drive us crazy.
