Moshiri also owns part of USM.

    Russian news? Ok mate

Whatever their long term intentions - and I've said from the off that I thought Usmanov joining his mate at some point was more than possible - there's nothing wrong with the ownership situation at Everton and Arsenal. Usmanov owns 30% of Arsenal and Moshiri owns 49.9% of Everton, end of.

He's not #neutral enough to put it together

The #bentasfuck ownership, why Moshiri wouldn't put a single penny into transfers, the stadium, or even just buying the land for the stadium

Because Moshiri's end of the bargain is using the connections to invest in real estate like the Liver building

They're vehemently denying those are the facts, but even if they are, Usmanov gifting his partner a stake in Arsenal a decade ago breaks what rules? There's been no suggestion there's any issue with that.

He decides to pursue Everton so sells his stake to Usmanov, the fact that it's suggested it was originally a gift, means nothing.

That was a necessary part of the original buyout. Since then?

Just a coincidence that your #desperate need for a striker wasn't addressed after the Barkley deal fell through? Surely a #legit billionaire could plug the hole, even with a loan?

If they are the facts, surely the fact they lied so much to cover it up is evidence in itself of being #bentasfuck ?

Of course it means something. I'm sure if this was Liverpool you'd be able to take the blinkers off and see it's at very least a cause for concern. <laugh>

Usmanov could go on to 'gift' another mate some money to go and buy shares in another club ......

    Nope.

Moshiri owned his stake in Arsenal for years. It's not the same as Usmanov giving him a wedge and telling him to go and buy another club. He may or may not have gifted Moshiri his original stake at the Emirates, but they were co-shareholders, if you can't see the obvious difference then you need to take your own blinkers off.....

In what other business would that apply like?

The only reason the rule is there, is to stop one person having control over more than one club in the same division and therefore leaving the potential for a conflict of interest and thus #bent results on the pitch, or #bent transfer dealings between the clubs.

Moshiri is so blatantly Usmanov's puppet he should legally be treated as his son

That's as maybe, but it's subjective opinion, not provable fact - which is where this entire Panorama non story falls on it's arse.

So you're fine with them being #bentasfuck so long as they get away with it

After all, Usmanov/Moshiri's reign has certainly been a massive success for Everton

The 'worst' case scenario for us is that Usmanov is taking an interest in the club behind the scenes, which would mean that he had every intention of following his mate in at some point.....gutted <laugh>

Our current poor placing is down to Koeman and Walsh not Moshiri, he gave the pair of them £220m to spend on players in 3 windows.

maybe but just like setting up a trust fund in the BVI into which ones wages are paid and then *cough* loaned back oneself it seems there is a slim possibility it may all just be a means to get round rules to your own advantage wouldn't you say ?

    Not really.

Let's not forget that Usmanov made an offer to buy out Kroenke earlier this year. So he obviously still wanted to own Arsenal outright.

He was blanked again and has seemingly no chance of a place on the board there, so how long until he gives up and moves on?

My personal view is that Moshiri knew EFC was cheap by PL standards and that the dockland development / stadium deal would give him a massive opportunity to both increase the value of his asset and give him access to making money on the entire scheme. So he took it. Usmanov stayed behind to try and fulfil his ambition at Arsenal, but may choose to leave and join his mate at some point.

which rather goes back to the point of using Moshiri as a front man.
