I've had a dig on Doctor Dex in the Southwell bumper at 6/1. Quite competitive stuff but i like the trainers record in bumpers and i'd be inclined to think some of the other horses in this race will need quite a trip in time whereas a yard or so shy of 2m will be fine for the good Dr.

189 days ago SHEILAS ROCK went in my tracker. She runs again for the first time since tomorrow in the maiden at Kempton and my only reservation about her is that absence. If you watch her Windsor debut she totally missed the break and spotted the leaders about ten lengths in the process. She was slightly blocked in her run again inside the two but finished off to really good effect finishing third. I dont think she even knew she had been in a race.
The winner has been a massive flop since but the 2nd, 4th and 5th have all visited the winners enclosure since which you would think points to the race being a fair one.
The Kempton heat tomorrow does not look the strongest and at 15/2 I am going to take the chance that she strips fit for this.

    SHEILAS ROCK 15/2 Kempton 1:50

    KATANGA,KATANGA ,you good good people.
its been a while but nice to see the forum still ticking along.
just back from the Yukon, where ive been for the last few months as technical advisor/head honcho digger, to the miners on GOLD RUSH.was great mucking in with todd, parker and the beets crews---and I must admits to having the hots for tonys wife--Minnie beets.
back at my Spanish bolthole now and tucked up for the winter.
noticed the forum has a new "joker"---who the fk is this "der Kaiser".
moving on---I will put up my first two selections this winter---MIND YOU BACK 4.00 SOUTHWELL and BLACK CAESAR 4.20 KEMPTON.
as for the big race doonunder--win ALMANDIN---and been reliably informed from my cobber connection TIBERIAN is a canny each way punt.
finally--as the advent period approaches and you may be struggling for xmas present ideas---there is good buy on amazon--a book of dittys by a legend of the horse racing world--at a fair price(not a brown envelope)
    good luck all. 51GDd2V9RlL._SX325_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg

I wonder if QEII knows he has used her image on his book. Would have thought you needed permission for that, maybe an approach was made and an audience granted. He does love an audience!

tbh stick---ive read some of his poems on f/book----I will refrain from swearing but the title has missed out one vital word--SLEEP .
totally boring and simplistic--a child could have wrote them, ive seen better dittys scribed on the ****house wall in the club.

How has that fecker managed to get a book published?
Katanga CHIEF, hope you and the Voddy Queen are well <ok>

I always think it is worth following Alan King when he sends one to Plumpton (14 from 41 for a 34% strike rate at the track) and William Hunter in the opening race can enhance that statistic. Rated in the mid-80s on the flat he will have been well schooled for his debut and although best-priced 6/4 is a little bit skinny he ought to be up to winning this.

alls well ODDY,thanks----voddie is bearing up well----my betting success has been in and out, just about holding my own---but have made a fair profit doing the "darkside" of betting---chasing free bets, risk free betting and arbs---but this is drying up due to the bookies pulling in their horns a bit with offers--probs because of all the students doing it because its guaranteed income---I just hope to survive being gubbed by the main bookies until the world cup next year, loads of offers about then----anyway hope all is well mate

Have taken to digging too mate, got a nice German version of a Spear and Jackson, called the "Schmidt und Junker" with a tungsten shaft and titanium blade. Cuts through the local sandy ground like a knife through butter <ok>

A real mystery man is this Chief Mechanic. Early days I thought he was a Bulgarian motor mechanic living in the Newcastle area. Then he suddenly appears with an avatar that suggests he is a black man in a sauna, or whatever. The forum's very own 'Double Agent'? How does he know so much about Andrew Evzona? Anyway, who cares, bloody entertaining stuff, whoever Chief Mechanic is! <ok>

why did everyone oppose team FoB in the bumper ? surely by now we should know the script !
to be honest , i to was put off by the paper opposition, but if anything we should all ignore that in bumpers unless it's the big one in march and let fergal do the business !

dear swany, the name comes from a joint thing---the old bbc 606 where it was simply "the mechanic" and the other from the old racing site, where it was "chief vambo"---as for mr evzona---I spy on him on a social media site---as I sometimes need a laugh.hope that's cleared things up mate.
