One conservative viewpoint from Egypt... http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/raping-women-national-duty-egyptian-lawyer-454570334
the drugs belonged to a "Friend" who passed them on to her , obviously against the law and wrong , but most of us would do / have done similar to help a friend out with no harm ever intended. However this husband is free to order this drug in Egypt free from prosecution and risk She would have been OK to bring these pills into Egypt had she the correct paperwork , tho as they were a "gift" this wasnt possible . If these Pills have a high value in Egypt then possibly is could be with the intention to make money , but i suspect the risk far exceeds the reward in this case ... I dont feel she is entirely innocent but i wouldnt consider her a drug dealer and importantly i wouldnt trust the Egyptian Justice system to provide an outcome id point to being the correct and safe one .
And they might feel the same outrage at us locking up a person for life because they buried a woman up to her neck and pelted her to death with stones. Different cultures, different world. You either live with them or destroy them.
Come on, she fell in love with her 'boyfriend' she met at a hotel who is married with children. She visits her 'boyfriend' 3 to 4 times a year. He really really needs these controlled illicit drugs from her 3 to 4 times a year because the poor soul really can't get anything to help. It's pretty obvious what's going on here.
The boyfriends got a good thing going here. Working in a hotel full of lonely, gullible women of a certain age. He's probably balls deep in at least another half dozen of the poor cows, bringing in the supplies. No surprise if these 'lawyers' turned out to be part of the same operation.
Supposedly she's one of several 'girlfriends' he has visiting him several times a year, she had put the Tramadol into paracetamol packets, she had other banned painkillers in her luggage and the drugs are worth a considerable amount on the streets of Egypt as they are more popular than cannabis and cocaine on the recreational drug scene. If she'd have been travelling to most other countries including into the UK, she still have been arrested for drug trafficking and be facing time. She won't be given the death penalty either, only murderers have been executed in Egypt in the last decade.
You probably have this bang on H. My workmate has a friend who' s wife always insisted on going on holiday to Egypt at least twice a year to the same hotel. She was retired and told her husband one day that she was leaving him to take up with a 30 year old that worked at the hotel and wanted a divorce settlement. I think I'm gonna ask him how it's going now I've remembered this..
Where's that from Des? I certainly didn't believe all the bollocks her family are coming out with but not seen that.
The family have now been conned out of £10k... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.hulldailymail.co.uk/news/brit-egypt-jail-painkillers-con-730264.amp
Yeah, most of the additional information has come from her family but I can't find confirmation of her concealing the drugs inside paracetamol packets. A family member said "She doesn't know a Tramadol from a Panadol" so it could have been misconstrued by the media which is likely in this day and age. It was suggested by a poster in the comments of this article. http://www.independent.co.uk/travel...dubai-abu-dhabi-which-countries-a8038286.html
Its all bollocks. The dopey bint has been caught smuggling in drugs she obviously knew were illegal in Egypt. If you can't do the time...
I was being generous to them with the naive comment. Another empty headed female that' had her head turned by some smooth talk I'd suspect.
Is one of those her? This whole situation is ****ing outrageous! Poor lass. But the one on the right.
The really stupid bint is the one in the middle. Let's face it she knew exactly what she was doing, just didn't think she would be caught for something so trivial. Aye, one on the right.
