Just a quick question Ron and apologies if this is again written somewhere in the post that i've missed but does this comp run like a league? So Oddy is top of the league and thats is score now so we just keep going to a certain point and see who wins the league or is it just going to be a winner every week and scores reset?
Bravo Oddy! And... Cheers for running this, Ron. (Was fun as an exercise, trying to piece together bits of old phone, whilst waiting for insurance replacement for last one. Lord alone knows when that'll be!?!).
There will be a winner every Saturday, a winner every month and a winner at the end of the year. When I get time I'll publish the winners to date and the current leader of the year to date. Apologies for not having done this so far but haven't had much time lately and was wondering if the comp would have sufficient interest to keep it going. Seems like the new format has added more interest so I'll keep it going like that

Depends how you look at it smokey. There will be an accumulative league table for each month and year to date. If you mean no promotions and relegations, you're right; that wasn't planned but, if enough want it, I could do that
I’m not necessarily talking about promotion and relegation just a straight up league table that we can see every week. Keep the returns and add or subtract from them every week and keep a running league table. I appreciate I’m not the one having to undertake this piece of work so it’s easy for me to make the suggestions but just for me personally it’d make the comp more interesting seeing everyone’s movement in a weekly league table
Here is the Table to date, base on returns but can be based on profit (shown in table). Returns obviously favour those who have entered most often. I could now start a League Table from now, based on the new format started yesterday
Just to give an idea of what is easily available smokey: I have every selection since the 12th August, when I started this comp. For each selection I have date, venue, race time, stake, return, profit, the bet (ie win or ew) and whether the selection was the nap. So I can produce tables between any 2 dates, by return, profit, profit to stake ratio, to include all selections or just the naps etc
Out all day yesterday. Got in a 6.15pm not having entered any of the selections. 1 hour later the League Table was up. Would have been earlier but was waiting for the evening results until I realised I had all the results I needed. Really is no trouble for me. Gives me something to do while the wife is watching TV
You're quite right Ron, i'd still be at it now trying to work it all out. BTW, could you go back to the old way please, this table shows me in a negative
