The man really is an utter twat. Instead of conceding his side were second best all game and were deservedly beaten today, he is whinging about inconsistent decisions by officials, yet in his rant he overlooks the worst officials decision of the game - the fact the ball clearly went out of play before the pass for their goal..... The man has zero class and respect. Glad we beat them and knocked them out of the top 2!!!
dame Nellie "and I was disappointed in those decisions today. They should have a man off we were not going to win against 11 it would have given us a chance"
All the mangers with no class. I get it if there was a genuine beef over a decision that could cost a team (e.g. The Freddie Sears ghost goal or similar) but I don't even recall the Pack incident in question. Equally they had Bryson on a yellow who committed another bad foul in the second half which another day could easily have seen him walk, not to mention the awful decision by the linesman not to see the ball cross the goal line before the pull back for the Bogle goal, but did LJ bemoan that this cost us a bigger winning margin - No is the answer.
Think Warnock had a point, Pack was incredibly lucky to stay on the pitch. Everything, like I said weeks ago, and all the luck is going for City. Ps The Lino got it right for their goal. Nothing for Johnson to bemoan.
You are only saying that because LJ's in charge RP.....Those tears you keep referring to, that this will end in, must be drying up!! The knives are gathering dust!!
He didn’t mate, it was Hoilett who wriggled. The one who no one wanted last August that Warnock picked up with along with Bamba. Shows that there are good players out of contract sometimes.
Wasn't there (and you obviously weren't) but from the vids I've watched, the ball clearly didn't go out of play. The laws state that the whole of the ball must be outside the line, viz if any part of the ball remains over the line, it is deemed to be in play. The goal was good - your defending for it wasn't.
No, only been playing it since I was 6 years old! You have clearly only learn't them recently by feeling the need to tell us. I have reviewed the video a few times now and put it on a still, I will concede that after reviewing it, it probably didn't completely cross the line. Good for you because it was the only way you were gonna score yesterday was a mistake by us.
Seeing it first time from the Lansdown stand and on the video the lino got it right the ball never fully goes out
banksy - it takes a man to own up to his mistake - a woman never will...... On the subject of "ball in or out of play", it came to a head a number of years ago with ball placement at corner taking. With the modern close up camera shots, there were outcries for the linos to make sure the ball was either in the quadrant or on the line. The interpretation of "on the line" needed clarifying. How many times does the camera appear to show the ball to be placed way outside the line? I can't remember the exact timing but the FA (or some other authority) made it clear that when the ball was placed for the kick, any part of the ball that was above any part of the qauadrant line was a legitmate placement. Although always apparently the rule, this has been applied to the letter in open play as well.
He's not called Colin for nothing...... Personally I think he's an excellent British manager. He's had success pretty much everywhere he's been. If he could show a small bit of humility and accept defeats like a man and not a whiny bitch, he'd be right up there with the best.
Sorry to upset you but Johnson didn’t mention it. So you can’t berate him for that. I know you must be sat boiling your piss waiting for the wheels to come off, which they probably will at some point. But you must be praying every week just to say “look everybody I was right and you are all dumb ****s” One thing I would like to point out is if you’ve not been there this season, then you are possibly missing some of the best football I’ve seen City play.
