This is ****ing dire. Why the **** are we not mixing it up? Even sammy is an option as a target man - that is how bad things are!
Exactly Cossy. We should have Murphy on getting on the end of crosses and long balls. It was stupid results like this that cost us last season and it looks like it's happening again.
Two home games in a row without Hooper and we haven't found the net. I could understand drawing 0-0 against a half decent European team but losing 1-0 at home to St Johnstone? Alarm bells are ringing. We couldn't break down their defence by passing our way through it so we needed someone who could get in amongst them and bully them, someone like Murphy for example. And what does Lennon do? Puts on McCourt and Forrest, two of the shortest players in the squad. Great stuff! Last five minutes we spend punting the ball up front and who's going to win the headers? Maloney? Forrest? McCourt? None of them could jump the height of the St Johnstone players if they were standing still. Absolutely dire.
Well you reap what you sew. On Thursday night some of our fans turned in great hatred against one of our players. Not content to boo, groan and roar abusive language at him, some others went on Celtic forums and continued to vent their spreem. Is it any surprise that Celtic who win as a team and lose as a team were off their game today. Celtic players all hurt when one of their members is getting abuse, otherwise they would not be a team and could not celebrate a wonder goal or a brilliant display. If some of our fans are going to continue this nonsense and it wasn't Sammy today it was big Danny. As soon as big Danny started getting the abuse the performance of the whole team went down. Thanks very much Celtic supporters.
We have 2 natural strikers at the club in Hooper & Stokes. It showed today as lively as Maloney was he's not a striker, when the ball was played to him he got out muscled far too often. I would have to say we need to play 4-4-1-1 with Maloney playing inbetween the midfield & Stokes. It gives us 5 across the middle in defence & gives us pace on the counter attack & it plays to Maloneys strength when he's running at defenders with plenty of the pitch to use his pace.
"In every hick town in Caledonia, across the pseudo-nation, you can see the most ****ed up scum who were shat into creation, where a blue McEwan's lager top equals no imagination. Think you're a success. Your psyche's a mess. Your economy is in distress. You're Hun-believable." Not my words.
