Scratched record Percy, but at least you attempted a reasoned argument . Do you really think the Allams will think the fans must be happy,if they don't boo ? Oh they're lovely bunch these city lot. We can loose every week and they all go home with a smile on their face !

The players more than anyone know if it isn't working. All you do by booing is it make it even harder for them. I'd love it if I was having a bad day at work and everyone started booing me. When things aren't going well the players need the supporters to get behind them even more to give them a lift, not do the exact opposite. It doesn't take a genius to work that out and surely only an idiot would think otherwise.

If the players aren't trying and clearly don't look interested and have done so consistently then that is probably the only time to boo someone. I haven't see that from anyone so far this season.

Agree 100% with the initial post by 4Tiger.

There's often a very fine line between success and failure - Pearson will get it right and prove what a great manager he is.

Who clapped them yesterday? Its not a case of having to clap or boo. If you think they've been ****e, but don't feel the need to boo, keep ****ing quiet instead.

Seeing similar posts on the Leicester board - for what its worth I think Nigel Pearson is a good manager and you'll be top 6 or thereabouts soon, this league is proving once again how competitive it is and is not won in August despite what some people think

great 1st post and agree with it, I think people are wanting to much to quick after we have come from the Prem, look at Leeds, Southampton, Shef Utd they all went down to league 1 but they have bounced back, i think the most frustrating thing for the home fans at the moment is the lack of goals and wins, 3 wins this year at the KC and just 12 goals in 14 league games is just not good enough, thats 1 goal every 108 minutes (did 93 minutes per match due to stoppage)

I don't boo, and I certainly don't expect PL football again for many a year. But I do doubt Nigel's tactics, or apparent tactics, and his substitution decisions.

Never booed my own team and shame on the morons who do, interesting that Percy likes booing but is against vocally supporting the team he supports, very telling.

When have I ever said I'm against vocally supporting the team?

Um, plenty of times there have been threads on here about getting behind the lads and you've come out and said why should people have to, but on here you've said you support booing, will find examples if I have to, got some time on my hands today.

I've never said I'm against supporting the team, I've just had a problem with people thinking everybody should support the team in the way they do.

    Totally different.

The "fans" who boo are probably those who attended their first ever game at home to Fulham in 2008. Yesterday was shocking, I mean truly dreadful considering we were playing supposedly one of the weaker sides in the league but I would never boo the team off, I think their confidence is low enough already given the fact nobody seems to want to take responsibility and create anything.

'The atmosphere has a direct correlation to the quality off football on the pitch.

The match was dire last night, the players didn't put any effort, in the tactical decisions were once again atrociuous and as a result the atmosphere was poor. The majority of fans respond to what's going on on the pitch, and if the players aren't showing passion neither will they.

Did find the Amoo song fairly amusing though. Credit to whoever came up with that.'
This is the first of many of your 'Percies' quotes I have found, if you think the players can just play without backing from the fans and the fans should only get excited if the team are playing well then you are showing a complete lack of knowledge of the game. Glad I found this comment as it was one of the ones that stuck in my mind as to why we have such a dire atmosphere at home, and your comment re the booing illustrates this even more. Clueless numpties, not necessarily you who don't get behind the team when we need them to! For the record I am not happy with Pearson at the moment myself but the fans need to back the team no matter what, not when they feel like it or the footballs good enough!

Perc, i am interested. We all know you want Pearsons out along with barmby asap - have you actually bothered to put these feelings down with supporting arguments in a letter to the Allams. as i am certain the allams have better things than read the posts on here, but if they get a well-reasoned letter expressing your thoughts, then that will do a lot more good than constantly slagging off people on here.

From my point of view anybody who thinks booing your own players is in any way a good way of supporting your team doesn't understand football.
