Good luck with your system Chelsea. I've never been a great believer in systems, in fact was told many years ago to stay clear of them, along with odds on shots and "tips"!!!! I'll keep an eye on your selections though, just in case you have stumbled upon the elusive guaranteed profit making plan! Looking at your selections....I'd say part of the plan is "has had a run within 7 days"? Good luck!!
Cheers Mick, as i said wasn't out of a moneywise gain was more a bit of fun while i was bored and it turned out a very nice profit so thought I'd give it a go, not going to end up a millionaire but a profit like you would of had oct16-oct17 would be great! Hence the only £5 level stakes and the £300 bank. And Yep correct that's the starting point of the system Mick and what it's based around! But a whole lot of specific criteria is applied, as if you just merely backed all horses running within the last 7 days you'd be down a hell of a lot.

Neola was only 4¼l 5th to Heartache in the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) with Happy Like A Fool only 2l in front of her. The fav is unbeaten in 2 but this is a big step up in class. I would have thought Happy Like A Fool would be odds on and rout this lot. Neola is clearly the most talented and the 12/1 now generally available looks very, very generous to me

I really though Neola would come good for you Chelsea. At 12/1, didn't get backed by the look of it, so maybe not fancied by the stable. She has the form to do much better so I would expect her to come good at some point

a system being profitable for 1 particular year is absolutely irrelevant, judging by todays qualifiers ground preference isnt considered
