I am so p****d off atm with that descion its unbelieveable, but the performance today was terrific! There was so many plus points come out of that game while it was 11v11. Im loving the look of bennett and pilkington out on the wings. Im sorry russ, but it looks like your position has gone, naughton is by far the better player for this league. Im suprised at johnson aswell today, i doubted him after seeing him in pre-season but him and crofts in the middle done well together aswell. JR was superb and a performance like that will only boost his confidence. Ahwell, we done it so much last season im not annoyed at the fact we conceded late but its in the manor of how the sendig off blatently lead to that goal coming. Roll on chelski OTBC ILWT
I would safely assume that the 'pundits' on MOTD2 tonight will be assured in their belief that the tackle was 5 yards inside the penalty area, definate sending off, that Norwich deserved to lose, that we defended poorly etc bloody etc...... one eyed fools..... If you can t beat em join em, i hope our boys start looking for pens every game now. I saw Crissy and Holt going over easily to stop play towards the end and cheating works. You only have to watch Madrid Barca to see how the game has gone, there is no point moaning we just have to do the same and hope we get gullible blind refs every week
Hi, Stokie in peace. We didn't deserve that, we were complete and utterly abysmal today and didn't deserve anything. I thought it was a really poor game of football today, as I don't think either side played that well. I'm sure you can play better than that. Hope you stay up. Not sure if we will mind.
Stoke fan here, - I can understand your frustration at the amount of time added, but you may as well accept that 4 minutes is pretty much given as standard in the prem ( God knows why), or if you play a big team, it seems to be as long as is required for them to equalise or win (witness the fact that Chelsea have done us 3 times with goals in extended time!). Harsh sending off, probably not a penalty but your defender got himself into an awful tangle off a straightforward ball. There is no reason why you should'nt survive - take away the top 6, and the prem isn't actually that good.
Only because we were playing that poorly. I've seen you play better than that and i'm sure you can. You deserved to win but it was still a very poor game.
Walters didn't play well today but that's about his only bad game since he signed for us. He's been an exceptional signing for us. Better than Jones anyway.
Jon Walters is defo not a **** player. To be honest he should never have took the penalty today as he was trying too hard because of the Norwich Ipswich connection and obviously wanted to silience a few people. He never looked confident stepping up to take it and I almost felt even before he kicked it he was going to miss. Matty should of took it instead as he normally does!
