Just because there is nothing in the law to say the sign is there, the council built the ground for the city and in my eyes they deserve the logo on the stadium. The club is in meltdown and Ehab's biggest problem at the minute is the Hull City councils logo on the stadium? Maybe he should focus on the clear under performance on the pitch, planning for January to rebuild this squad that was decimated in the summer. Maybe look at how to increase crowds and fan engagement. I could go on and on with issues Ehab could be looking at that are in his best interest and ours. But no..... Ehab decides to remove a sign for no reason whatsoever, the bloke is an idiot at times.
Kinell. Battle lines now out in the open and clearly drawn. Be interesting to see what, if anything, the council do in response.
Drove down Walton St today. Had a reminisce of a pint in Brickmakers before the match with the lads. Saturday couldn't come quick enough. Its all in the past now. All this **** and other stuff has killed the club i love and it hurts like hell. Ehab you are a souless disgrace.
KCOM have agree with Clr Inglis and removed their sponship of the stadium. The new sponsor, East Riding of Yorkshire council, wants their name more prominently displayed?
At a time when the club is struggling on the pitch, the manager is on the edge and fans are boycotting and protesting you wonder “what can the owners do right from the top to encourage some unity and provide a strong vision for the future to get out the mire?”. They take down a sign needlessly just to annoy the Council. Why bother? Maybe they can legally, maybe they can’t, but there are MASSIVE major problems at City now and this is inappropriate and pointless.
Ehab Allam blames 'the pirates' for taking down Hull council's sign from KCOM Stadium http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/news...news/ehab-allam-blames-the-pirates-720564.amp
Why would he wish to do that? The Allams have made it quite clear that they are only interested in what is morally right for the shareholders. They couldn't give a flying fxxk about "our" best interests. Their best interests are well served by clinging onto championship football this season and next with the lowest level of spending possible. There is no possibility of this regime running the club at a loss in future times. Not to worry... for as little as £21 per month you can watch it disintegrate in front of your own eyes, be you adult child or pensioner. Sad times.
Actually, that touches on what should be happening ...... KCOM and all other sponsors should withdraw and disassociate themselves from the SMC and the football club. Likewise any suppliers or other 3rd parties that have anything to do with the area. And the local media should now be openly slating them, exposing them exactly for what they are. Enough is enough (it was enough already years ago). How much more of the Allams shoving 2 fingers up at the council, the fans, the community, is it going to take. Grow some f'in balls the lot of you (council, media, sponsors ,......). And as for ex-players joining in the HoF; for ****s sake tell them to shove it.
He will have thought long and hard about how best to get revenge for the Pirates comment, and is no doubt very pleased with himself now. Meanwhile Hull City continues to limp along. Stupid sad, sad ****.
What is wrong with this family ? No respect for the City of Hull or the fans of it's football team. We don't need people like this anywhere near the East Riding. Go away and take your awful money with you.
