Hull City Supporters' Trust withdraw support for club's new Hall of Fame http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spor...ws/hull-city-supporters-trust-withdraw-712313
Tickets for the first in a series of Hall of Fame events are now on sale. The special evening, which will be held at the KCOM Stadium on the new date of Wednesday 31st January 2018, will see the Hall of Fame's inaugural inductees announced in front of an audience that will see past and present players and managers join with supporters on what is sure to be a memorable occasion. Full details of the event can be downloaded by clicking here, while tickets are now available to buy online here (please note that VIP packages have now sold out). Today we're delighted to confirm the attendance of two favourites from the 1980s with the two Billys - Whitehurst and Askew - set to join us on the night. Whitehurst was an uncompromising forward who struck fear into the hearts of opposition defences during two spells with the Club. His bruising style of play saw him become a cult hero on the terraces during 271 appearances and 69 goals in a black and amber shirt. Askew, meanwhile, was a tough but talented midfield player who hailed from the north-east. Signed after a successful pre-season trial in 1982, he spent seven-and-a-half years at Boothferry Park and played 300 times. We look forward to reliving some special times on the night, and over the next ten days we'll be announcing further confirmed guests from the 1980s as well as the 90s and right up to the present day so keep checking the Official Website to find out which Tigers legends you could be sitting alongside! Itinerary - Dinner(three course meal), Raffle with money can't buy prizes, ( free raffle then?) exclusive auction, 20+ex-players of the club (it's Hull City you silly ****s) and event programme - dress code formal wear , collar and tie, yeah right --- great opportunity to real **** off Ehab and his old man - worth every penny
Another sad part in all of this, is it seems to have made our great nickname a bad word for some fans.
Its ok, our nickname is The Tigers. Ehab Allam calls us Tigers. I'm not sure what type of English grammar they taught at Wolfreton but he didn't seem to be listening.
Two things, first how and why did it become a money making Hall of fame, and second what a chance to make a scene
all profits to WWF to save the wild tiger - the only wild tiger on the night will be Ehab when a yellow ball lands in his tomato and basil soup
Assem Allam @allam_assem To remind everyone, Ehab said in his last interview, "the name change is history". I changed it to Tigers! Only EFL and PL use Council name
Does anyone know who the ex-players are that are going to attend? Chilli and Wiggo, Howey and Ian Butler on the wing have been announced, but what about the others? Who are they? Can we get to them and the other ex players? (I hope you or one of your minions are reading Ehab you twat - maybe some of the players might reconsider in view of despicable handling of the club.) Can we get Ash or Garreth Roberts to have a word, given 1) they have played their respective hands already 2) one would expect that they are held in high esteem by the team mates. Chilly and Wagga already know how **** the club can be when Fish snubbed them. Now it's the fans that are being snubbed. How much are the players being paid to attend? Can supporters funds 'pay' the players not to attend?

100% agree with, & support, The Trust’s stance on this. It’s thoroughly disappointing that any such decision even needs considering. More poor form by the owners. #AllamOut #AskEhab
Chris Chilton and Ken Wagstaff. More than any other players that got me into City. Absolutely star struck by these two. Met them subsequently, even played against them in various charity games down the years. Just absolute heroes. Felt desperately sad when they were snubbed by Martin Fish - are they being hoodwinked into this? Disappointed to see also that Keith Edwards right shoulder will be in attendance. More skill in that right shoulder when he played for us, then many of the players he played with and against at the time.
