True but there was literally such a low amount of coverage, unusually low, then again what do we expect i guess.
It's not a joke, at least I don't find it funny, you expect a team at the top to get some respect but with that Claridge involved it won't happen.
Bit harsh blaming Claridge. I blame the directors. I mean we smash loads of records, some of which have stood for all of our 126 year history, we are top of the league, with one of only two 100% records still left in the Football League. But hey ho.
Yeah we have had a good look in so far so not surprising that we were further down the order with a scrappy 1-0. They could have shown some more missed chances but with 24+ other games to get in they don't hang around.
Not exactly like there was much more to show! One of Millwall's dragged efforts wide, a blocked shot... they're pressed for time, our match was hardly match of the century.
I didn't expect much. It wasn't a win for the TV, it was a win to warm the hearts of fans that were there. And there's always Saints Player.
Am I the only one who doesn't care? Extended highlights will be on Saints Player and online(BBC) Monday.
We would have more coverage with more goals. They have to be fair to other teams. In any case, the sooner that game is consigned to history the better. An important three points but no more than that.
Same with the bbc football website. Our report was one of the last to appear and it's not even listed on the front football page but other championship games are. During the "as it happens" live update, they said that Saints were keeping up with Derby. Look at the table.
I expect the womans premier league which gets on average a massive 300 people watching per game will get more coverage than Saints on the bbc this season. Because the BBC has to appear all policitally correct for a bunch of lesbians muffing a ball around in a laughable manner
To be fair to Claraidge he quite offen says good things about Saints, what I don't get is why they waste good air time showing the teams coming out of the tunnel!
Football League Show only show the goals and close shots on targets etc. Saints Player is the best place to watch highlights.
I guess I am too biased, when we are doing well I want everyone to know it, Claridge does say "nice" things, if you the chance to watch a replay of the League Show after we beat Brighton, it gave me great pleasure to see him squirming away saying how well we had done, when he is not on the show we seem to get more coverage, I am just a bit paranoid, take no notice.
It was listed on the front page, until the late game between Posh and Ipswich finished and replaced our game. And when a side wins 7-1, it's hardly surprising that the gets more publicity and attention. I don't really understand what the problem is here. There was only one goal and it was a relatively poor game. It didn't deserve 2 minutes of highlights or whatever people were hoping for.
Just watched the show. I understand not getting the match featured as it was a poor game but we did not even get mentioned after the highlights which considering we maintained our 100% record and are top of the league it's a joke!
