It would be Keane if I had my way. Impossible of course as he hates Short.

The really piss-boiling thing to me is if even a toad like Moyes had been given say £40m 16 months ago we would probably be ok.

Now we are right up to the neck in clarts

Wonder if we will turn to Walter smith to find us another manager who doesn't want the job

Think this sacking had to happen, he failed to sort the issue of conceding 2 or 3 goals a game and it's cost him. Who ever comes in just needs to get us organised at the back and we'll start to climb the table. Now just who's daft enough to take the job on

If Short's selling up though...and he was at the game the other day.

I didn't want Keane before but I've changed my mind and he's probably the one I'd go for out of the realistic options.

I’m sure he was at the game watching Ireland players but who knows?

He got us out of this **** before, we’ve all read his book he was bought into the club.

He’s my choice but there’s no chance it’s happening.

Was thinking the same thing the other day mate, he's still well thought of around here for the job he did with Grimsby. Working his way up the leagues doing well and probably worth taking a chance on him.

Leeds had a shocking start last year and ended up just outside the playoffs.

If you say a manager is ****e, you will always be right due to the nature of football in this country. They will get sacked or leave eventually.

I watched 2 seasons of a lot of monatonous **** and we were solid enough to scrape wins to get us promoted, but if we'd lost slightly more Hughton and Rafa would have been long gone.

My point? Grayson was purely unlucky, judging on what I have seen of the games. Ceetainly the football was no worse than the style we played in the Championship, or the style others employ. So, unless you plan on getting a ****ing leprechaun or a horse shoe as the next manager, you might want to start with bitchslapping the players who can't concentrate for 90 minutes or finish a chance, rather than hounding out more managers.

Think it’s unlikely due to the obvious rift with Short but then again Short has pretty much washed his hands of the club so stranger things have happened.

Keane and Super Kev as number 2? Wouldn’t that get the fans back on side.

I wouldn't say no chance, he's not exactly super tied up and I'm sure he's got that gnawing desire to get back to club football, added to which we've got history with him.

He was probably there watching Irish players but is there really anything about McGeady or O'Shea he doesn't already know? They aren't exactly youth players. Who knows.

Yeah and I wouldn’t back O Shea to organise a piss up in a brewery after tonight’s shambolic display.

How quick they’ve done it must say that they’ve already sussed out who it’s going to be, more than likely someone close to home, Bally?

Hands up on that one. Counts for nowt if we follow it up with another cheap gaffer though. Funds needed in Jan too. Can't see the season starting now. Limbo until the new guy assess his squad.

Be interesting to see if the funds for Jan that were mentioned the other day have been spent on paying Grayson off.

Is this the same Keane we asked to get sacked before he walked. I don't want him back he was awful at ipswich and has done nothing since. I'm not sure who I woukd like but I know I wouldn't want Keane back.
