Anybody else watch Goals on Sunday today? Fabio Capello was asked why doesn't he go up to the North East to watch Newcastle and Sunderland. He said he tried one time but it was foggy so he couldn't make it up.

Just goes to show why no Newcastle or Sunderland players are being considered for the England squad! He said he has people everywhere watching English players but I just think he can't be bothered to come and watch us. So Fabio Capello hasn't watched us at all since he has been England manager.

Can't wait for him to go!

Just saw it on the mackems board. Said he sometimes goes to our away games. Why go then not select our best English player (or any of them for that matter!)?

He might just be nebulaphobic, seeing fog at the airport and hearing about the fog on the Tyne was just too much for him to handle.

Haha, its a fantastic excuse GRB! The man, and the whole national team setup are joke anyway! Ive started to adopt Northern Ireland, I have no connection to the country at all. Just nice to see an underdog do well lol.

He's scared because he knows once he sees Shola in action, he'll have to drop Rooney and can't bear the thought of facing the wrath of Fergie.

Me dad's Northern Irish, I was born in England and have lived in France for most of my life so I can switch about a bit ;)
Don't go supporting the French National team though, they're utter ****e.

I wonder, if on a blank map of Great Britian, whether Capello could point out Newcastle, and Sunderland?

    Honest question too.

Howay Ivory Coast. My new adopted nationality. If it's good enough for Tiote, it's good enough for me

Belgium for me. Frightening potential in that side.

Agreed! Kompany, Lukaku, Fellaini, Mignolet, Courtois (Chelsea new signing that they loaned out), Boyata, Witsel and Volssen. How are they doing in the Euro qualification?

Saw a thread on the Chelsea board about them. If someone had said ten years ago that Belgium would potentially be a dominant side in 15 years they'd have been sectioned. <laugh>

Haven't given a damn about England since 2002, the glory days of David Seaman and Trevor Sinclair. I don't like international football in general, I do watch the World Cup still, but purely as a neutral.
