Tbf he was part of the best midfield I have seen at Charlton since I first went in '76.

Shame he was of dodgy character.

 

Until he decided to stop trying.

 

The best midfield that I can remember was Gregory, Campbell, Moore, Peacock.

It's fair to say Danny Murphy is a prize tit. Why on earth he continues to gain meaningful employment is beyond me, yet the BBC has a history of paying fortunes to plonkers, so I shouldn't be too surprised.

Anyone who criticises King Curbs deserves a whack in the eye.

 

Murphy got his come-uppance at Fulham, when he stopped taking the corner kicks in front of our fans because of the abuse.

I hated Murphy's comment when the evil Witch was on talksport.... "oh the fans will come back once the team is successful on the pitch" ....... eh ??? No Mr Murphy you are wrong!

 

Sounds like Murphy shares KM's casual disrespect for fans.
She at least can afford to look down on them, as her qualifications as a lawyer mean she is only playing at being a business executive.

Without the football fans that he clearly has no respect for, Danny Murphy is unlikely to have earned anything like what he raked in from Liverpool, Charlton and Fulham. He is also unlikely to have got married to a Hollyoaks actress and been able to blag yet more money off the BBC and TalkSport for his crap punditry.

Don't mention it Mr Murphy... Oh that's right, he didn't.

Lying about his problems at Charlton recently has reminded me about what a snake he is. Curbs is one of the most honest men in football. No-one would believe his word against Curbs'. The reason he got dropped was because he wasn't trying, and Curbs could see that. Getting a second yellow for blatant dissent against the strictest ref in the league was sticking up two fingers to the manager, the fans, and worst of all his team mates.
