Just a little taster for tomorrow, but I never understood why players remove their shirts after scoring, it must be the easiest yellow card to avoid.........

I’ve got this down as a city loss somehow, WOL poll suggests out of 500+ voters, only 4% agree with me....hope I’m embarrassed by my prediction! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Cardiff are set to be without striker Kenneth Zohore and midfielder Aron Gunnarsson for the visit of Millwall.

Both players have been out since the international break with ankle injuries, while goalkeeper Lee Camp is sidelined with a groin injury.

Millwall manager Neil Harris has no new injury worries following their 2-0 win over Birmingham last Saturday.

Centre-back Byron Webster and midfielder Shaun Williams are long-term absentees with serious knee injuries.

    SAM's prediction
Home win 62% Draw 22% Away win 16%

    Match facts
    • There have been just four goals scored in the past six league meetings between Cardiff (3) and Millwall (1).
    • The Lions have failed to score in five of those six league fixtures with the Bluebirds, while also keeping four clean sheets in the process.
    • Cardiff are unbeaten in their last five home league matches against Millwall (W2 D3), after losing back-to-back games between 2003 and 2005.
    • Millwall have not lost any of their last 10 matches in all competitions against sides called City (W5 D5).
    • Cardiff have made the highest percentage of their passes in attacking third of the pitch in the Championship this season (48%) - Millwall have made the second highest (44%).
    • The Lions have failed to score in five of their last six away league games.

Millwall have looked half decent when ive seen them this season. Should have beaten Forest easily but lacked a cutting edge.
Zohore out again is a massive loss. Really hope Bamba isnt in central midfield.
Tough game and definately a potential banana skin.
We are the better team and should win though.

We've won games I lots of manners with the last one low on chances but ground out a 1-0.
We've had other games where we've had lots of chances and drew.
The only scenario we haven't had is where everything hit the back of the net.
Not sure millwall are the team where that will happen as they're pretty solid but it'll happen soon enough.

Agree about the banana skin potential of this one. Nobody fancied either team at the start of this season. If you'd asked anyone they'd have probably said we would finish higher than them but that's about it. Both side have done well and exceeded respective expectation levels.

The two managers seem to have made the difference. Should be a close game today with the odd goal swinging it and I'll back Warnock again over the younger manager. That's probably the only reason we'll get the 3 points unless we get a stellar performance or two from those that can turn a game - I'm thinking here of NML and Wardy.

City odds on to win today - can't be arsed with that.Going for City half time full time instead......20 quid @ 7/4. Also same 8 quid each on the two midfielders scoring Ralls @7/2 and Bryson @6/1. Thats 36 quid on City again - well you've got to do it.

Now I'll sit back and watch it go down the pan again....<laugh>

What a poor game. Warnock said there would be days like this and this was one of them.

Archer made a couple of first half saves that probably killed the game - if one of those shots had gone in it would have made a huge difference to Millwall's tactics and there could have been far more open play.

As it was a point where we expected all three but the other results at the top made it not a bad afternoon in the end.

One bright spot - as per their rules, B365 refunded my 20 quid HT/FT City to win bet because it ended in a bore draw. :1980_boogie_down:

That’s 3 ‘of those days’ out of 4 though; no goals in open play since Leeds. Ward had 2 decent chances, Hoilett one and apart from a decent Tomlin shot late on, their keeper not troubled in a lack lustre 2nd half display.

A real wasted opportunity today; why so negative at home?

Don’t like 5 at the back at home. Central midfield overrun as a result. Go back to 4-5-1 on Tuesday with Patterson, Tomlin, Damour to start plus hopefully Gunner and Zahore.
