If we spent more time learning how to influence and intimidate referees we wouldn't have to rely on trying to score from open play!
Not if you're wearing a red shirt it isn't. ...to be honest, somebody needs to point this out to Charlton, Forest, Barnsley and Rotherham (among others) as they aren't taking advantage of this loophole.
Now that Young isn't getting into the penalty area to dive as much, I see he is perfecting the "I've been shot" routine that Drogba used to adopt toward the end of games to waste time (that the ref lets them get away with).
I love the irony on here, have any of you ever watched Spurs or even read other supporters opinions of your players and their "antics"
Ah yes, here come the Man Utd fanboys who refuse to condemn their own players' cheating and instead point fingers in random directions to try and claim it's perfectly justifiable for their players to spend the matches diving, intimidating officials and squaring up to opponents. Just like Wonderwall, it's a song we've heard for the past couple of decades that never stops being dreary and pointless.
Absolutely fascinating watching J.Terry avoiding defensive duties and instructing other defenders to cover him in Birmingham v Vlla
It's a full Real line up as well which is slightly surprising in one way, given that they have to face the mighty Spurs on Wednesday. On another tack, they are probably under some pressure to crush the Catalans. In other news........Everton are definitely in trouble.
Indeed. It seems that the Catalan Premier League might have 3 decent teams in it. That's 2 or maybe 3 more than Scotland.
Everton lose and fail to score yet again. It's looking like a downward spiral for them now Kind of makes me appreciate the fact that AVB somehow kept us competitive despite enduring a similar circus of a summer having sold his talisman. Nice but Dim took over a squad in far better shape than whichever poor sod is entrusted with saving Everton's season. I've always felt he got treated more harshly than he deserved and took the fall for plenty of mistakes that weren't even of his own making.
Yeah, but in all fairness, he was a total dickhead. His press conferences, gilet and salute to Adebayor made my legs curl, let alone my toes.
From David Unsworth's press conference, as reported by the BBC........... When asked to react to Joey Barton’s comments on the radio, where he claimed Unsworth wasn’t more than a glorified PE teacher, Unsworth said: “Not got a problem with what Joey Barton says – I couldn’t care less.” Give Barton a baseball bat and that could be a great fight. Unsworth may not be a PL manager but if he got hold of Barton unarmed, he'd rip the little fecker's head off.
I was complimenting AVB. In contrast to Dim, always seemed hard working, humble and sincere. I liked that about him. All Dim had was passion and even that began to wear thin on me by the fifth time we got thrashed by Liverpool.
