I know it looks like I've been dogpiling on Jeremy ...Hunt for the past few days, but let's be honest: when the best solution he can come up with to tackle the NHS bed shortage is to offer members of the public financial incentives to put up people recovering from surgery in their spare rooms of untrained members of the public.

No, this is not a joke, nor have I mistaken an episode of The Day Today for Sky News (although it is quite easy to make that mistake), as here is the website for the private provider who are piloting the scheme in Essex.

As the JFK files are being released later, best post this before we're told a weather balloon did it...

Trump tells the camera he is intelligent and was a good student. His teacher says different!

Why is Trump concerned with JFK? Is he expecting to be shot too?

  6. What I wouldn't give to bring Bill Hicks back to comment on Dumpf!
    Quote on his Wiki page:
'The elder Hicks would say, "I believe that the Bible is the literal word of God." And Bill would counter, "No it's not, Dad." "Well, I believe that it is." "Well," Bill replied, "you know, some people believe that they're Napoleon. That's fine. Beliefs are neat. Cherish them, but don't share them like they're the truth"

Tedros is a pretty common name in Eritrea, probably in Ethiopia too.

Not been keeping up with the JFK files. Has Trump pinned it on Obama or Hillary yet?

So according to the BBC, the June NHS hack was the fault of local trusts not knowing what to do in the event of a hack and certainly nothing to do with Jeremy ...Hunt deciding that, rather than pay to have Microsoft safeguard the NHS's system, a system which runs on Windows XP - an operating system which launched in 2001 and hadn't had a security update since 2014.

How do their bullshitters...sorry, "journalists" sleep at night knowing they report such ****ing tripe?

Has somebody pointed out to Madrid that, not only are they looking like Franco never left office with their use of the Guardia Civil and their forcibly taking control of Catalonia while removing people from power for not falling in line, all they're doing is strengthening the resolve of the Catalonian independence supporters by giving them far more ammunition than they had three months ago? Because somebody really should consider mentioning it.

Also, as I'm on the subject, somebody should suggest to the EU that they should actually intervene, rather than sit on their hands and hope things work out.

The EU won't say a word because they all have similar issues within their own power bases.Politicians will need to come to to terms with situations where countries are divided close to 50 50 as in Catalonia, Scotland and Brexit. It is not good enough to adopt a winner takes all and ignore the ambition of the near 50% who 'lost'

White House Press Secretary confirms that they regard all accusers of Trump of sexual harassment are liars! Interesting call seeing as he is quoted as admitting to this behaviour......

Don't imagine this is going to go well for POTUS!! <laugh>

Perhaps they are going to, once the 25 other EU member
states have discussed and agreed what their collective
    course of action should be.

Looks like a no win situation for the EU. If they intervene they will be accused of interfering, if they don’t they will be accused of being impotent.
