I am neither bitter or upset about them leaving (only that our club didn't replace them).
As we were aware and you are finding out Ash only had one good year left and after the service he gave us no one objected to him having one last go at a trophy and building up his pension pot which he obviously had more chance of achieving with you.
Everton thought they were buying a creative midfielder in Sigurdsson - he isn't and never has been which is why he never quite made it at Spurs. With us he was quite anonymous for large parts of three seasons when playing midfield; he did very little to help the defence but was effective when allowed to move freely around the front line.
His assist level was high because he took all attacking free kicks and corners.
