Heavy rain in the night and very strong winds this morning. All the leaves in Hampshire have decided to land on my lawn! Hope Signor Conte's training methods have thoroughly exhausted his players by kick off time...

I was going to say good morning from a windy island, but the wind appears to have died down - for now.

Afternoon all. It feels cool here today, but give it a couple of days and the forecast says we will be searching for the tee shirt and shorts again. Still feeling we should have got something from the game yesterday, but the way we are playing now is quite exciting.

A big congrats to our canary. A great win over the tractor boys and now up into the playoff places. And next at home to Derby so even higher soon <cheers>

Well I think someone upset Arsenal and they took it out on the toffees. Now I wonder who could have upset them?????

Here in Cadiz 30C and not even yet cool enough for my bike ride. Hope all goes well wherever you are <wizard>

Morning all. First day without pills to swallow and my stomach is starting to feel better already. :emoticon-0100-smile Looks as if it might rain shortly and is not very warm. I was planning to cut some grass, but suspect that will be on hold. What a shame. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Mex were 800 meters to the beach so the breeze (often very strong - were in kite and windsurf country :emoticon-0140-rofl:) makes it more bearable than inland, like Cordoba (we're on the Atlantic and not the Med). But this year the summer is greatly extended. We'd normally be stacking the logs for the log burner but instead we go for a swim. And Donald doesn't believe in climate change :emoticon-0105-wink:

Here everyone is talking Catalonia. Just came back from town and on the radio it mentioned Catalonia and you could hear the hate in the taxi driver's comment. No matter what the politics Spain is not a nation - sadly. Anyway I'm drinking as much Cava as I can to protest at the Government stance. Not that I'm pro Catalonia indy any more than the majority of Catalans. Sorry way off topic. Back to my sea, sand, sun, Cava and olives. Hell I'm meant to be retired.

Any way another day of sun and 100% blue. Sorry Canary but I bet after your win even 'Cool and damp Weston-super-Mare' feels good <cheers>

I guess a nice glass of red is not a good suggestion? Maybe wait a day or two. But glad you're on the mend.

Strangely enough the pills and potions I was on said nothing about avoiding alcohol. Mme has some that tell her she cannot take part in athletics as the drugs are banned. Somehow I don't think it has had a big change in her lifestyle.

Koeman has been given his p45, that's going to make Everton a harder team to beat now, ah well, still got a great chance playing the way we have been!

Morning all. Couvert mais pas de précipitation says the man in Poitier who sticks his hand out of the window. Yes the sky is covered, but there is also a steady drizzle. Shame as I had a list of outside things I wanted to do. Need to make the car a bit tidier as tomorrow it goes for it's two yearly MOT. A visit to a garage of any sort and I am aware that my knowledge of French car language is sadly lacking, apart from the fact that I no longer have a clue where to find half of the bits I used to repair on the simple cars I once owned.
