Thank's for giving me space, just want to make a point, as a bloke and family man I wish him well, as a chief coach or management prospect I think he is a brown noser, I have no feelings about the man,outside of football, he is irrelevant to me.
Y you obviously have your reasons for thinkIng he's a brown noser , I've no idea what they are , I've been reading this forum for years and respect your views & I usually agree with most of what you say. as regards LJ I didn't agree with his appointment & thought he should have gone last year , in fairness though he pulled it around at the end of the year & this year they've been a joy to watch. As for forum going dead that's more down to yourself & shiny both taking a backward step imho.
I won't bother explaining my reasons as they are of no importance to anyone but I do wonder why you are blaming me as an individual for our forum going quiet. I will just point out I am no longer an organiser or mod on this forum and have not been for 6 months, I still offer 3 different types of prediction or forecast games for people to participate in weekly if they wish and occasional quizzes, You will also note most days I try to conribute comments,thread and information articles. How have I taken a backward step, I have taken a lot of personal critique from the professors, know alls and luvies because of my opinions, I understand that but I still maintain my participation levels, it's the quality of content that is driving us down, not contribution or lack of from 1 individual like me.
I've noticed the forum being quieter lately- Living away from Bristol it does keep me in touch and I enjoy it, but as an observation (Not a criticism) the forum seems to be full of competitions, which many probably enjoy, but few interest me. Hoping that there can be more discussion about football and the banter, which I may not always join in with,but is good to see peoples opinions and viewpoints
The forum's gone quiet because even the clappers know it was wrong a/ to employ Junior and b/ to keep him with the same record he holds at Barnsley - the most consecutive defeats. Lansdown has bankrolled his decision to save face - but it will end in tears. Lansdown has employed 2 'Corporate Speaks' in Junior and Ashton. Hard to know which one I dislike most.
Now that should make Wiz happy, his old mucker is back, blimey you two, we all know it will end at sometime that is obvious, when is another thing, lets hope it's a long time just to P**S you both off.
The forum has gone quite because we have been playing well and nobody is whinging. Lose a few games and it will soon pick up a pace
