Schmeichel - 8 - Fast becoming the best goalkeeper we have had since Flowers. Commands his area well, smashing shot stopper and excellent with crosses. Shame his kicks we're a little poor today. Never a red card but nevermind. I'm sure we'd have taken an away point at the start of the game. (You wait, Leeds fans will tell us he plays well for the first few games then he is ****...)

Pantsil - 7 - Little to do but he still had to be solid in possession and in the tackle. He showed pashun, enthusiasm and commitment and that's what we'll need from the boys this year. Well done John.

Mills - 7.5 - Never beaten in the air. Much improved from last weekend. His passing has improved 10 fold. Well done, tough to come back like he did in a derby match. Was never a penalty.

Bamba - 8 - Class act. Had Derbyshire and Miller in his back pocket at the same time. Wouldn't sell him for 10m at the moment. String in the tackle and air.

Koncheskey - 7 - Experienced performance.Forest fans we're on his back and I though he was excellent. His crossing leaves a lot to be desired but his defensive work is so good. Well played son.

Fernandes - 9 - Well taken goal, good assist and excellent all round play. Will be signing of the season if he continues like he did against Cov and Forest. His pashun and commitment is on par with Pantsil's. He plays for the shirt which is always a good thing to see. Well played again.

Wellens - 7 - Didn't see much but his passing was excellent as usual. He is very experienced in the art of time-wasting aswell. Assured but against a lacklustre midfield he had little to do.

Danns - 8 - Ran the channels superbly, excellent crossing and was a danger to Forest everytime he got the ball. Works his socks off and is settling into the player he was at Palace. (Love his new chant aswell <ok>)

King - 6 - Did he play? We should cash in on him IMO.

Nugent - 9 (MOTM) - What a brilliant little player he is, yet again he has shown class when needed. Passionate for the club and game. Linked well with Vas. Good goal.

Vassell - 8 - Showed again why he should be played up front. Worked his little socks off and made openings for the midfield. His experience is vital for us. Well done Vas.

    Subs
    Abe - 4 - Didn't have anything to do.
    Gallagher - 3 - Not a striker for ****s sake!!
Weale - 4 - Not much he could do.

    Overall conclusion.

I thought we we're excellent. Shame the referee was shocking but ah well. An away point is always a good thing. The formation was bang on today so well done Sven.

Vassell is **** as a winger but looks decent as a striker. He will never score enough goals but he puts himself about.

    Can't argue with them.

Even when Gallagher's on form he's COMPLETELY the wrong player to bring off the bench in any situation, let alone this one. He can't run, win headers, get stuck in or cause them any trouble with pace whatsoever. If one thing Sven did had a hand in throwing 2 points away, it was that. As soon as we came on we looked uncomfortable when before we had no problems.

The only other player who really deserves stick (though I barely noticed King) was Weale. What a ****er, yet again he costs us points. Was he in a wheelchair or something? Ship the useless bastard out now. Logan is far better back up.

Generally Sven got it right today though and we were robbed, no question. I'd be worried if I was a Forest fan, they were so shocking. Neither team will make the top 2, and I think we've more chance of the top 6, midtable for them.

Disagree with your comments on Weale. Not like he had a chance with the goal, difficult situation to come into; 15 mins to go in fiesty local derby, trent end behind him giving him stick and also not to have played with three of his back four before puts him at a disadvantage.

Although I do think we should let him go. Maybe get young Alex Smithies in from Huddersfield to back Kasper up?

Just got back from the match and tried to post on match thread I started!

I was only away for a few hours? Can't you lot play nicely!

I actually predicted 2-2 on that thread, knew there would be goals, but have to say as everyone else probably has, until the peno no way F*r*st were going to score, we totally controlled the game, think that peno was only their 2nd on target!

Should have put Bamba in goal, he would have cleared that cross no problem!

Today feels like a loss, but 42 games to go, Sheep top! things will chanege and today proved that we have the quality to be up there, the lads were superb, Pantsil and Konch outstanding and showed big passion, also Kasper showed big B*G B*LL*CKS coming on the radio and fronting up fopr what he did.

I was worried before today, but I cannot wait for Southampton and I am sure the players are thinking the same.

I know it must be hard for a top class young goalkeeper to leave for peanuts and for him to be replaced by Andy Longergan but please, you don't have to cry about it everywhere <ok>

    Lonergan > Schmeichel.

We've seen Schmeichel a lot more than you have so your opinion is irrelevant compared to ours.

I honestly find it very funny how you still delude yourself that we are sad he's gone. FFS see what we're saying on our own board, he's far from top class and is a liability as he showed today. Also read how much better we think Lonergan is than Schmeichel. He may actually do well for you, who knows, but he's not missed in the slightest.

Gelson was outstanding from what I say on the net. Would be my MOTM. Agree with Emilio that Weale should have claimed that cross and he was the player most culpable for this draw. The ball seemed to bounce off Gallagher when he came on and he didn't hold it up well enough. Nugent was very good again. Vassell again performed when put through the middle but I wish that one-two with Kingy had come off because I fancied Andy to bury it and with it the game. King wasn't as influential as I would have liked but he did try and support the strikers which our midfield hasn't so far this season. Wellens was also very good at the base of the diamond and started all our moves well - when he plays, we play. Danns also looked the player we all expected when he signed

I would probably go unchanged for Southampton and maybe the fact they aren't down the bottom scrapping means they won't come looking for a point and will try and attack us will help us.

Weale definitely flapped for the second, was rooted to the spot and got nowhere near it when he should have just moved his feet and caught it. Poor IMO.

Schmeichel's red was a joke by the way. He actually through it into the centre-circle so was actually helping Forest rather than hindering them. Also, if it's true that he didn't know he was booked, it shows how incapable the ref is to not make it clear to him he had been booked. And as for the peno, that was one of the worst decisions of our recent history.

    Agreed. Ref bottled it.

We'd be stupid to single this referee out though, Howard Webb is regarded as one of the world's great referees yet he's exactly the same in the majority of games. Remember that night in Cardiff? Bottlers who favour the home side, the lot of them.

Gallaghers not haing a great season atm to be honest. Didn't under Nigel either. Played every week last year and got best out of him. Maybe he needs games?

    He needs to play better.

He's got deserved stick for the last 2 games, though it wasn't fair to judge him today as he was brought on to do a job which doesn't suit his strengths.

He's a good player and I hope he takes his chance soon in one of his preferred positions. I didn't notice King much again today so his place is hardly safe. If we play a 4-3-3 he'll be in the running too but we need pace on the other side.
