Having returned to winning ways at Ashton Gate on Saturday, TC's men will be full of confidence that they can hold their own against the 2015-16 season Champions, just as they did in the previous round at Burnley. You would expect Jansson to start having been rested / dropped at the weekend, and you'd expect Shaughnessy to join him. I don't think we'll see Berardi for a while, so the gaffer needs to decide whether to select Anita ofg Borthwick-Jackson at left back We haven't seen Klitch in a while, but that would be because TC does not fancy him much; surely he'll get a run out tomorrow night, as should Grot, Cibicki and Sacko. The crisp munchers gained an invaluable 3 points at the weekend at the Liberty Stadium beating Swansea 2-1, but it will be interesting how many changes they make. Managerless Leicester sit in 14th place on 9 points from from as many matches, just a point from the drop zone. How important is a win to both teams? Who would sacrifice progression to the quarter finals for a win next Saturday?
Good Morning M att from a dull Bardsey' I believe that the result on Saturday when one takes it onto context was a real message to the rest of the league that we are a force to be reckoned with this season When we look at this season at the end of it this could be when we turned it round As for Tuesday Dallas will be out as the lad has lost his Mother so our heartfelt condolences go out to him and his family Beradi will be out looking at the incident for a long time one wonders sometimes with him if he is really that stupid. I did wonder what has happened to Jansen no bookings this season and that has definitely affected his play however on Saturday whilst sitting on the bench he became embroiled in the altercation with the Bristol coaching staff.I hope only me noticed this otherwise he could be brought to book as well So FA permitting I would play Jansen and Shaughnessy with Ayling and Anita and Lonegren Mid field Klitch Viera Okane Aloiski Saiz Grot resting Lasonga Its just a bonus as far as I am concerned points are our main objective starting on Friday Congratulations to Hudd Town what a great result they had on Saturday too which was eclipsed by ours of course!
Win on Friday is a given for me. Saturday's result was a Belta and from what I saw we were back to our positive play, ie chasing for every ball. Let's take the positives from that game and support Leeds United both players and management set-up.
I think Tommy saw a spark on Saturday and a fit Viera is a must alongside any 1 or 2 defensive midfielders. I would play Klich to see what he can do against a prem team. I would rest Phillips & O'Kane. I would also play CBJ as we need Anita to cover for Berrardi. This could be wholesale changes but knowing Tommy there may not be any even though we have a tough league match on FRiday
A German newspaper is reporting this morning that Theresa May is begging for help from the EU. Many thanks for the newspaper Mighty
Good morning Mike from a very wet and windy Southampton. Great result for Huddersfield. It was one of those lose lose situation has I wanted both teams to get obliterated
I did not see anything wrong with Janssons altercation with the Bristol City bench. They were heated words but that was about it.
Who would sacrifice progression to the quarter finals for a win next Saturday? your games Friday still confused arnt you Wall/Leeds who are you ?
Berrardi is out for 3 matches so we may see him at Brentford. Anita, CBJ? I think the latter should get the nod tomoz where he can try and prove hes good enough. Anita needed now until Berrardi back, unless CBJ can prove a point
I would like to see Dallas formed into a LB, he has the energy to get up and down the flank and put descent crosses in, maybe another Terry Cooper. Anita lacks pace, and CBJ seems as though he does not have the desire to be at LS11.
If anyone wants to go tomorrow night, but couldn't get an away ticket, you can buy tickets in the home end online and print them off at home.
Said this myself at the start of the season. TC is obviously thinking about it as he's played him as a LB sub on at least one occasion so far, and due to BJ's poor showing, might have got himself promoted from Plan D to Plan C .
Good afternoon WJ Monk will be out on Holy Island next Monday if he losses the next 2 games what a awaste of 45m+ I didn't realise he bought Shotton as well and Christie We could buy Fletcher for £1m now along with Bamford and Gestede .Bet they wish they should have accepted our £6M offer for Gestede they would be lucky to get £2m now
Looks like Pontis is back and CBJ getting the nod, so I hope he takes his chance or I fear his career is over as a serious footballer. I liked the look of him at the season start. He was pacy, very very skillful, got up and down well, tackled back and even linked defence to attack. He even looked a credible CH when Pennington went off injured. Thats the bloke we want, not the sulky prat who thinks hes too good for the championship. I questioned his loan because of his loan at Wolves last season, where he hardly got a kick. Is this the reason? he thinks he can do better, I hope he gets it sorted as he really did look a class act on his debut. Dallas not playing as Tommy told him to come back when hes ready, no rush so he should stay with his family. Cellino would have banned him from even going to the funeral
Leicester will get "manager sacked" bounce tomorrow, and I can see them getting stuck in and winning this one ... regardless of who they rest, their starting eleven will be giving their all to impress whoever is watching from afar ... their players all have a clean slate now, and they'll want to give their new boss a Cup Quarter-Final to play the fringe players in as he decides what his best team looks like ... tough night for Leeds the Bristol performance showed that Tommy has what it takes to turn a struggling team around ... the players were back to their fighting best, and playing Phillips as an advanced holding mid worked a treat ... it allowed Leeds to press high, and win the ball back in their half, leaving Bristol stuck deep and unable to launch effective counters ... if Leeds keep working that hard the season will be a successful one, because the quality is there man management is vital, and when you look at Phillips in the four games prior to Bristol he was unrecognisable ... Tommy no doubt had a stern chat with him, and instead of dropping him (I would have) he gave him added responsibility higher up the pitch, making it clear that the strategy rested on the work Phillips put in ... the response was excellent, and you could see the confidence and belief flooding back oh yes, and a German newspaper once predicted a short fcuking maniac would rule the world
Billy correct I would have dropped Phillips too as a bad Klich would be better than what Phillips has shown us the last few weeks. Klich deserved a chance again but have to admit Phillips produced and Viera who again I would prefer Klich, Viera won the game he was massive. So what the fk do I know. Tommy did it
I think with his knee niggles Viera will be rested tomorrow and saved for Friday night, so I expect Klich to fill in. Hope he gives TC a headache! Think this is where we bow out of the cup ok, but quite happy about that. Roll on Friday!
