It's the Matth jinx. The less information Matth puts in the match thread, the better we do. He put the day of the match in the last three match threads and we played ****e in each. This is a return to the glory days of the Palace and CSKA threads Hopefully the Spurs and City match threads will just be blank
If he could provide incorrect info you might see the rebirth of Busby's teams. Mourinho would probably take Best off though for not tracking back.
I'm going to this match. Looking forward to it actually, just not looking forward to the round trip. Be interested to see Lindelof in the flesh as from what i've seen on TV he's ****e. He has to play to get some games under his belt. United really should win as Swansea plan to rest the first team and the the first team is **** so God knows what the second string will be like.
Lindelof has been a car crash so far. If we can afford to bin off Shaw then we can afford to send that absolute retard out on loan.
Thought McTominay and Tuanzebe looked very comfortable tonight. Lingard is very underrated, his movement and energy is great and he links midfield to attack right across the pitch.
Thought Lingard did more to confirm the theory that he is much better without the ball than with it. Great movement for the goals, and great finishes, but he needs to be better in possession if he's going to start many games. McTominay and Tuanzebe did look comfortable, but then Swansea were bad enough that even Lindelof looked comfortable(ish!)
Lindelof is a big girl's blouse. Several time he ducked out of taking a hit with the ball, nothing serious - and even while we were playing comfortable triangles at the back in acres of space he looked like he just wanted rid of the ball, at no time did he look to play it anywhere other than back to one of ours. Woeful - he needs half an hour in the bar with Vidic.
He looked very apprehensive. Tuanzebe, by complete contrast, was very assured. A fairer comparison I suppose is with Smalling, who looked what he is, very experienced by comparison. He's a long way to go and at that cost can we wait? Fosu Mensah is better by a mile in my opinion, as is Tuanzebe. That all said, Swansea reserves are ****e so it's not really a full test for any of them. It was a training match for United last night, very assured and they did what they needed to, nothing more.
