Team #LCFC XI v #Swans: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Iborra, Ndidi, Albrighton, Mahrez, Okazaki, Vardy Subs: Chilwell,Gray,Iheanacho,King,Hamer,Amartey,Slimani
I'm undecided between the two. Hoping you're right Ed. I'm only hoping the prospect of them having to face Big Mikey and explain themselves if they underperform galvanises them
We have put in a decent performance so far. Iborra has been excellent controlling the midfield. His one touch passing has quickened everything up. More of the same for the 2nd half please.
2-1 Ibbora and Okazaki excellent. Certainly an improvement in the performance so far. Still expecting it to be 3-2 Swansea though...
A job well done ... Mahrez superb today ... one piece of skill when he brings a looping spinning ball under control was sublime ... created two goals and put one on a plate for Vards which, unfortunately for my fantasy footie team, Vards blew
Big big win that is! Very happy Good performance especially from Iborra He was outstanding... controlling the game. The thought of him and Silva playing together is an attractive one. Bring on Everton
Iborra, Ndidi and Silva We really will have some options, get the right manager in and we could still have a good season
Those 3 look strong on paper - we still don't know how long it will take Silva to get match fit - but are all central midfielders. Would you play 2 wide men (such as Albrighton and Mahrez) in a 4-5-1 or go 3-5-2 (with Chilwell and Albrighton) and maybe Mahrez and someone else up top?
I like 3-5-2, you may only play two of them with Mahrez in front of them or all three if Silva is more attack minded with the other two behind. That leaves Mahrez out but I guess we need to see if he will be here after Jan as that could resolve itself. Good options to have. Hopefully the friendly games they have organised for Silva will get him match fit. It's only like an extended pre-season
I reckon King could do a real job there in place of Ndidi then we would have 3 players comfortable in both attack and defense. Iborra and Silva both played together so should have understanding and with King's grit and passion, could work well...
When Mahrez is in the mood he is world class. He was unplayable yesterday which is something we all know he is capable of and expect him to do it alot more then he does
I don't think Ndidi is bad going forward, he can run with it and shoot. He'd be alright with Silva and Iborra. I don't see King as more than a last resort if we are to move forward
Are people forgetting that we simply have to play Okasaki? That in itself just sorts almost all problems
