For the first time this season a small gap is opening up between the top three and us in fourth,(four points)next fridays game against third placed sheffield utd, takes on even more importance than usual.A win here would realy put us back on track
I don't think the score flattered us Chippy, we played better football and passing than the last 3 games. We worked harder and were more committed. I think the team earned and deserved it......
No, we just done nothing all game, that's irrelevant, they deserved everything they got today, they were the better team all over, could have and maybe should have been more than 3-0, but oh well bad day at the office for us, first defeat in 13 games and still in the top 6, a position you'll never be in
Guys fantastic performance you bossed the game from start to finish. We were made to look second best. We go again 1 loss in 12 is not a concern at present,it is how they react to this loss. Well done the better team won on the day.
cheers m8,like you said you don't go 11 unbeaten if your a bad team, sure you will bounce back soon enough.
Don't think we'll finish top 6 at the end of the season, top 10 I'm thinking which will be progress on the last two seasons
Just heard that Stuart Dallas was absent as his mum passed away, sincere condolences to him and his family at a horrible time. Seems that Berardi broke Taylor's nose, which means he'll get the FL book thrown at him no doubt. Thing is, the City players were quite willing to dish it out as they became frustrated, so I have some sympathy for the lad. We know he takes no prisoners, but clearly nobody told Taylor - at the time I'm sure the commentator snorted with laughter, though that might have been me. I actually thought he chested him, must have been the angle.
I'm still waiting to see the Berra incident from a different angle. I'm hugely biased, and acknowledge this, but I've still to be convinced that he's 100% at fault. Prolly wrong, but will support him until he's unsupportable. He had his back to the ref, so not convinced the ref had a good enough view to make the call. Tin hat now firmly affixed ....
City are appealing the card, the clip I watched clearly your player was at fault,Taylor just went towards him
