That makes no sense on any level.

If they have done wrong, punish them financially.

Why would anyone care about a negative points total?

Not really a punishment unless it meant they could have qualified.

    Is he ****.

He actually had a good game yesterday, aside from his moment of lunacy.

He's struggled for form so far this season, but to say he's a **** defender is bollocks Jimmy. You've not exactly got an eye for a CB though lol.

Just watched the footage of the incident. Williams should have been sent off. Ref does that straight away, stops the ensuing fight. As captain, Williams should be leading by example. The lad carrying the child should be setting an example to his child as well. What is that behaviour going to teach him? Three EL games, two with crowd trouble, not a good reflection on Everton in Europe.

Nothing like a bit of confidence, but 'Arry Kane is a bit OTT thinking he's close to Messi and Ronaldo, he's not anywhere near Neymar or Suarez or others let alone the first two.
It's not just about the goals, it's about the all round play and trophies in the bag.

He's a great goalscorer but he doesn't have the individual skills of the others to go with it, nice for him to be nominated though.

""Tottenham's Harry Kane tells Football Focus he "has work to do" but feels "not far off" the standard required to win the Ballon d'Or, after being named in the 30-man shortlist for the 2017 award."

Nice having an English lad on there, who was the last - Gerrard?? I agree Kane doesn't inspire when you watch him like those others you mention. He is currently my FF captain though <whistle>

I don't think your comment came across as you slagging him off. More like hearing his name mentioned in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo just looks a bit ... not quite right .... <laugh>

possible if they don't buck up. they have 1 and frankly having players struck by memebrs of the crowd is serious. To then defend players etc on basis of ****e refereeing.... uefa wont be happy.

we know... we got done worse that the asshole mancs who sung songs at anfield that were a disgrace to their club and got done for flares. Theres always an arsehole but when the stewards stand back and cops etc to mind themselves and players are put at risk and then everton blame the ref... well uefa are inclined to throw the book at clubs who make uefa look bad.

    It's never enough to hurt.
I think generally speaking a points deduction is a more serious punishment, it's just that under these circumstances it probably won't make a difference.
The whole incident was just bloody stupid, it just shows how a moment of red mist can escalate.

"Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, asked if he regrets responding to comments from Jose Mourinho about injuries: "

Do they ever ask Maureen if he regrets any of his insults aimed at rival managers and players, whether he regrets poking his opposite number in the eye, whether he regrets his treatment of the Chelsea club doctor etc etc?, Nah, they haven't got the bottle.
Conte when asked the question should have replied with his own question.

"why didn't one of you so called sports journalists point out to Mourinho that he has "cried" many times about injuries"

But he's teflon coated now he's at the Devil Dome.

Illori will win the balon dor. Mark my words.

Williams isn’t ****, but I remember fans wanting him to join Liverpool and he clearly isn’t good enough for a big club.
