Double Standards

    Just been reading some stuff and obviously we just had the Maybots speech fiasco and its amazing how many things we miss or don't know/look into. Mainly due to reporting double standards

    For example we have the Theresa May mess which hasn't had the same scrutiny as how milliband ate his sandwiches.

    But there are others which I recently found out about.

    Did you know that the Brazil world cup involved "slave labour" like Qatar? Or that although Brazil is seen as fun living and have a gay pride march, they also have over 40% of crimes against lgbt communities?

    Or, and my favourite, Boris Johnson is portrayed as this buffoon but is comparable to Churchill who also was a buffoon and a bit of an idiot according to those who knew him or were around him. But he is portrayed as a hero

    Anymore for anymore?

    I always thought Klopp was a dude according to how the media portrayed him.

    The klopp love in is nauseating

    I don't think he is a bad bloke but his facial expressions when speaking to the 4th official don't suggest a "I'm sorry old chap but that decision is simply not cricket" look about them. Surprised he hasn't been sent to the stands

    At some point in his life his bottom rack has been broken and it's just flapping around now with a mind of it's own.

    He reminds me of Ian Holloway, it got boring very quickly.

    I think that the Brazil thing might be down to two things.
    Firstly, the gay community over there actually feels that they can report the crimes against them.
    Secondly, the whole macho pride thing mixed with the largest Catholic community in the world.

    Churchill was clearly quite a dick, but if you're in a war, then that's sometimes what you need.
    He's been idolised for the good things that he did, while the bad's largely been airbrushed out of the public consciousness.
    Johnson's just a posh twat that keeps saying stupid crap all the time and we've already got Prince Philip for that.

    I get that about Brazil but its not something generally known

    Also with Churchill some of his gaffes and buffoonery is identical to Boris and there were a few who thought he was a **** too. Maybe Boris would be ideal for brexit? Its almost warlike with the negotiations and maybe we need a **** over Davies who is seen as Mr charm? There's a thought <laugh>

    Churchill was a poor politician.
    His moment came in becoming the physical embodiment
    of the UK resolve to resist and destroy Adolf.

    In what universe could Boris ever be or do the same ??

    Churchill was a racist and white supremacist. In 1937 he had this to say:

    I do not admit for instance, that a great wrong has been done to the Red Indians of America or the black people of Australia. I do not admit that a wrong has been done to these people by the fact that a stronger race, a higher-grade race, a more worldly wise race to put it that way, has come in and taken their place.

    Not to mention him advocating the use of Mustard gas and blaming the Indians for the famine in Britsh controlled India in 1943. 'They breed like rabbits' he had to say whilst brushing off their starving plight
