2666 is the last novel by Roberto Bolaño. It was released in 2004, a year after Bolaño's death. Its themes are manifold, and it circulates around an elusive German author and the unsolved and ongoing murders of women in Santa Teresa, a violent city inspired by Ciudad Juárez and its epidemic of female homicides. In addition to Santa Teresa, settings and themes include the Eastern Front in World War II, the academic world, mental illness, journalism, and the breakdown of relationships and careers.2666 explores 20th-century degeneration through a wide array of characters, locations, time periods, and stories within stories.

  I just had RON from (03) 864 2681 after 5 missed calls very strong accent. He told me I have internet and landline with Telstra, and from now on I will be getting free data as I don't have access to the new network in my area,as I am on the old cable line with Telstra, he went on, saying how I am tired of waiting for my pages to load, and how my phone bill and internet cost over $100 last month I will be getting cheaper phone and free internet. I ask him many times through-out the call, are you asking me or telling me, he said I'm telling you, I let him go on and on, I decided I had enough of his voice and BS, I interrupted him, did you say I paid $100 last month for my phone and internet, he replied Yes, I said I didn't pay anything like that, where did you get this information from, he said my phone bill, I laughed and said, well that's me, as I don't receive any phone or internet bills, so you must be a scammer, just as I ask to confirm he was from Telstra he ended the call. I hope this isn't a Telstra gimmick, and Telstra should know they are introducing themselves as Telstra workers.
