"every penny will go back into the club." - Not necessarily on transfers though!

“One thing I can guarantee, having spoke to Mike Ashley, is that every penny will go back into the club. Mike’s assured me he won’t take a penny out of the transfer.”

I bet the money will disappear and Ashley will claim it has been "used to pay off debt".

I may be wrong but do we have any debt other than to Mr (C)ashley himself

Theres something about Pardew-Ashley that makes me think Ashley is a bit more likely to be straight with Pardew, probably being massively naive but I just get that impression. I do hope we get the lions share to spend though because we could get two players at very least as good as Carroll in the summer.

Precisely my point... we owe Ashley money, therefore the transfer money will technically be used by the club to pay this off.

We could quite easily get 3 or 4 great players with that money. That's all however dependent upon survival this season. Although if we do stay up, I'd like to see us bring in two good strikers.

Why's that a bad thing? That means we have less debt, which is undoubtedly a good thing. However, it's fairly obvious that not all of it will be used for that. The fact we offered £12m for Insomnia and £12m for Crouch shows we'll still put a lot of money into transfers, while still using some to wipe away some of the debt. Would you rather interest-free debt to MA or debt to a bank where we'll struggle to even pay off the interest?

I don't mind some of the 35Mil going to paying off debt, as isn’t that rule where a club can’t run at a loss of 5Mil 3 years running coming in soon? If so we need to pay off some of this debt. I do think the majority of it should go on a striker though, I would say at least 23Mil should go towards players. This may sound harsh but this is my realistic view.

Also just went on my Fantasy Football, Carroll in a Liverpool shirt, doesn't look right.

Sounds like good news! Hopefully if we can just stay in the top 10 we can attract some decent players in the summer. We need a star to be our no.9 (someone like Benzema maybe???) but i dont think we'll be able to afford their wages :(

I would use that money to get 3 or 4 good quality players

We definetly need 1 striker, I personally would get 2 and get a good partnership tgeva. I am not 100% sure what strikers I would get but Nicklas Bendnter and Gabriel Agbonlahor sounds quite good. But that would be at least £25m of the budget gone I think so maybe not them 2

I would go for Cleverley who we been after for a while from Man Utd. He will be behind Nani, Valencia and Park in the line up so can see him going. £5m-ish maybe?

Then that would probably be enough, maybe another defender. Could see us doing quite well then, but with us ya never know what will happen at the end of the season

We might get taken over which would be great, providing it by the right sort of people (no more Ashley's please!) we might have a diffrent manager, players we won't expect to leave might leave (Tiote, Enrique?)

In an ideal world I would like our team to be something like this:

    Steve Harper

Danny Simpson, Mike Williamson, Fabricio Coloccini, Jose Enrique

Tom Cleverley, Cheik Tiote, Joey Barton, Hatem Ben Arfa

    Nicklas Bendtner, Gabriel Agbonlahor

Would be very pleased if we replaced the **** with those two up front. Tom Cleverly? I've not seen much of him but he's a pain in the arse to defend against on FIFA so i reckon we should sign him up! I would also say bring in jarvis from wolves but hes a left winger. reckon ben arfa can play on the right?

Why do people keep saying Bendtner? He's awful! Gabby isn't bad, but come on, let's face it, he's no Carroll.

We are not guna get players like Carroll

Ya neva know, if we play Bendtner week in week out he could turn into a top, top player - as could Agbonlahor

I would have Bendtner, just not at the price thats bein talked about (£17m) and Agbonlahor is more than likely to be over priced and he is an Aston Villa fan but Carroll is a Newcastle fan so ya never know!

Pardew will have someone up his sleeve, on Chronicle website it says he wants Carlton Cole which might not be 2 bad but would not set the world a light in my opinion

I'd take Agbonlahor, wouldn't want Bendtner. Who else is there though?

Theres that weird named striker a lot of you lot went on about during the 606 days, what's happened to him?

To the person who said Benzema - Hatem hates him, and also do you remember what happened last time we bought a striker from Madrid? ****ing little **** he was.

    Haha! Maybe not Benzema then!

Van Wolfeswinkel maybe? Liverpool were trying to buy him and since theyve got Carroll and Suarez maybe we should put a bid in? Problem is that he's unproven in the PL and his price is gonna be sky high, along with his wages :(

Lukaku is meant to be a machine! but again unproven and madrid want him so he'd be out of the picture.

I've seen Gameiro's name been mentioned on the old 606 site? not sure how good he is though.

    Roddallega (sp.) maybe?

Bendtner needs about 20 chances to get a goal, so I wouldn't want to waste 10 million on him when we have Ameobi... A brothers Bendtner!!

Wolfswinkel is the one I was thinking of! How could I forget someone with a name like that?! <laugh>

But yeah, signing players from the dutch league is a risk as the standards a lot lower. Maybe not go for him!

I'm growing fonder of the idea of Agbonlahor - maybe because he would make Newcastle better on Fifa <whistle>
