Wetherby 3.45.My one to avoid today.

After Hours. Hasn't won for over 2 years but has come second 5 times in his last 6 races. Was considered to be a decent sort when winning his bumper on début in 2015, carried through the promise to hurdles and later into chases but unlucky to meet a couple of improvers over inadequate distance. His form figures give the impression he is difficult to win with but that may be doing him an injustice. Carrying a mere 10.7 today (with regular jockey) over what could be his optimum distance, this must be his best chance of a victory. If he doesn't win he must surely get a place so the 9/2 available must be an ew bet to nothing.

Bugger, the 9/2 freely available went whilst I was typing. 4/1 still available with SJ but some down to 3/1. Obviously haven't seen my post <laugh>

me too swanny, richard guest was a top national hunt jock , but he trains mostly flat horses , this is a rare jumps runner at his old local track where him and sue smith enjoyed many many winners , this could well be a gift with leighton aspell booked , i've also done the queen of the fens runner in the novice chase , pam sly loves winners here and wouldn't be suprised if she had Popelys Gull primed at 33/1 !!

Happy Kev, especially as I took Song of Summer @ 9/2 and it ended up at 14/1 and Elegaic @9/2 and it finished up 10/1 - both best odds races :1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down:

Thanks and well done indeed, Rudey, you've had a heck of a day! Been hither and thither all day as better half has had me 'under the whip' with odd jobs that needed doing. Just checked to read the good news on Lough Salt and that one of Pam Sly's you picked. Unfortunately didn't read your post till just now, so missed Popelys Gull. What a price! However, it was still a good day, for sure. <ok>

Well done on winners lads.I see six favs went in at Punchy and bumper winner was gambled 50s into 8s. Bookies well and truely spanked.
Thought I would have a wee footy wager to make the champions league more interesting this evening
    Man Utd/Juve/Chelsea/Bayern -2 7/1

thanks lads , nice to use years of accumulated and hard earned knowledge to occasionally predict the outcome , its paid for our holiday to mallorca tommorow!

On a side note got a phone call out the blue from an Oliver Jenner claiming to give me a winner tommorow , bait for a tipping operation , i will have some fun with him when he rings back after his so called tip runs , i'll post it on here with obligatory warning !!

never use them people , rarther get a share in a horses tail than throw money their way !!!!
