When Engalnd are winning I love cricket - when we're losing I hate it. Nah - I think it's great but can understand exactly why people wouldn't. There is quite a whiff of the "old days" about it and the administrators make most football governing bodies look like the best organised most forward thinking modernists in the world.

Cricket is painfully dull to watch, yet very good fun to play. I used to play a little when i was in school. Not a bad batsman.

Cricket was developed as a game to play when checking on empire members. Because of days doing nothing, nobles decided that they needed a new sport, and invented a sport that involved hurling a ball at a man with a wooden plank, and another man has to try and catch the ball after it has been hit.
