OMG. Honestly, my grandson's team (U13) would have got roasted for that, and the third. Our defence seemed oblivious to where their striker was. Not one defender aware of the space behind them. That lack of awareness is unforgivable at any level. As for the penalty, difficult to say without the benefit of slowed down videos from different angles. Looked as though the striker had pushed it by the defender and tripped as he tried to skip past. It was either a penalty or a card for simulation and the ref has to make an on the spot decision. Difficult to complain as I think we would have claimed a penalty had it been the other end.

Carlisle striker Shaun Miller has been charged for ‘Successful Deception of a Match Official’ following the penalty decision on Tuesday. https://t.co/A8tk6NcPak

The thing is if he's found guilty and gets banned and it's against another team challenging for promotion that will punish us as well, maybe a substantial fine that goes to a charity of our choice and if he does it again the fine is doubled or even trebled.

"Incidents which suggest a match official has been deceived by an act of simulation are referred to a panel consisting of one ex-match official, one ex-manager and one ex-player.

Each panel member will be asked to review all available video footage independently of one another to determine whether they consider it was an offence of ‘Successful Deception of a Match Official’.

Only in circumstances where the panel are unanimous would The FA issue a charge."

    They won't all agree
