    1-1 FT. I think we'd all have taken that at the start. Just a shame that we had the lead and didn't hold it.
    7 points from the first three games and a performance that we can have pride in.
    Another point at home and we'll have done a lot of the hard work in the group.

    Madrid score three against Dortmund and Apoel and a dived penalty against us. We score three against Dortmund and Apoel and an own goal against them, pattern.

    A great point in the toughest possible match that means we should qualify. Plus:
    • We have first teamers in Alli, Wanyama, Dembele & Lamela to come into this squad. Imagine the bench then.
    • Winks gains some real valuable experience and does not look out of place.
    • Sisokko gets better with every game.
    • Rose is back from injury.
    • Llorente gets a run out and demonstrates some good link up play that could have lead to a goal or two.
    All in all a great night that I think will send a message across Europe.
