Hello all, Newbie on here, but been following Not 606 and 606 last season. Some brilliant threads and great banter - love it, and love QPR. Anyway, my point. Am I alone in thinking that the BBC don't like us - ever since I can remember they always seem to down us whether its the team prospects, results or predictions. Just seen the interview with David Moyes and the BBC guy was so sympathetic to them. Last weeks result against Bolton - they couldn't wait to slag us off. They just can't wait for us to fail I recall waayy back in the day how bias John Motson seemed when he commentated on the '82 cup final - he must've been wearing a Spurs top. That's how long its been going on. Maybe it's just me and I need a lie down! Fantastic end today to a great week for the club - onwards and upwards.
Welcome ... don't worry about them (BBC and the others) they are not believers and NW has got few friends but he is winning a lot back ... All the time they write us off it feeds our team spirit ... Outside here can you hear the chelsea sing ... no ... fickle fans you see
I'm sure Warnock will be using all these little things to instil that us against the world attitude, who cares what they say? We've got three points, ha ha!
Cheers for the welcome guys - the replies. You're all right, who cares - makes it all the sweeter when we have results like today........that's why I love QPR!
Hi Northolt, Unfortunately I don't sit anywhere now, used to stand then, in the 'good old days' - had to stand in the same spot behind the goal two rows up (lucky!) - I assume you mean at the ground. I don't get to many games now, but work on the Underground (Central line) at White City and west, so see everyone going. Went to the Port Vale game last season and was barred by my mates for the remainder as I was bad luck! Hope to get to a few games this season though - if I can afford it.
The media love northern clubs. They are seen as the grafters who work on little, whereas Southern clubs are seen as the flashy clubs with all the style and money, a bit like the actual stereotype of southerners and northerners in general.
