Already checked the shark scene up there. It's the first thing I do when I'm going to a new place to surf. You get Great Whites up and down the Pacific coast, but they are rare in Vancouver. Lots of Orca and Whales though. They say the Orca keep the Sharks away.
Basically you engaged in conversation with an emotional woman. In the industry this is what we call a big no-no.
Yeah, it was the perfect methadone for Game of Thrones. I was a bit pissed with the History channel for completely rewriting history though, Rollo at Lindesfarne (late 8th century) and then him taking Normandy (mid 10th), typical ****ing Yanks. Series 5 starts soon. I keep trying to find a DL site for it. It's historical drama of Saxon England iirc, should follow on well from Vikings.
You have blue skies down there? Eerily grey in Southampton almost dusk like. Due to storm throwing up loads of dust I believe.
The Sky looks a bit yellowy today...the Sun looked strange this morning..nature gonna get mad Armageddon
I know. Just been to check out a secret spot and it’s out of control. Haven’t seen anybody getting in or out anywhere. Too dangerous today
You'd have to be a thundercunt to go surfing down there today, pics of some doing just that on the Beeb though.
There are some guys who live for days like today so that they can take on the biggest, gnarliest waves going. Not for me, I don’t need to prove anything to myself. I was hoping to surf today but at a sheltered spot, turns out that everywhere is out of control though.
Overslept today. Woke up to see it was still dark so went back to sleep. It was eerie and yellow until about 2pm
Selfish tossers imo, as they don't give a thought for those who'd be tasked with trying to save them if they got into bother.
I used to sail years back and I still donate to the RNLI. They frequently risk their lives for no reward rescuing stupid ****s who've ignored weather warnings, gotten rich and bought some **** off boat that they have no idea how to sail, navigate, or control, etc. Some of the idiocy in the casual way people treat the sea beggars belief!
Depends on who it is really. Most of the guys who take on the big stuff tend to have their own water safety people with them on Jetskis or Ribs. But yes it's the have a go hero who ends up risking other people's lives when they go out into conditions that nobody should.
