We weren't up for it or didn't want it as much as Newcastle - totally disagree, Thought we were better than them for most of the game.

Our left - we don't have one. We are wasting Larrson on the left. He has no understanding with Richardson at all and he would be better on the right. Richardson is not a left back but when O'Shea is fit I see him playing there.

Sess and Gyan up front - I don't think this works. From the keepers kicks they rarely win a ball let alone hold it up. Gyan to me hasn't started yet. He's been poor in both games a bit like Bent last year. Sess' has plenty of tricks but his end product is close to Malbranque.

So for me we still need a left midfielder and a striker. (TELL ME SOMETHING NEW).

Gardiner looked good when he came on, Wickham looked clumsy. Mig is not no 1 for me. Would like to see Westwood.

Bruce should have made changes earlier, he seems to only not get beat in these fixtures, he didn't go for the win at all. Elmo foe me is a sub. He can he a ball on the flank but rarley produces a good cross and his positional sense when the ball is coming down the left flank is poor. He should have been at the back stick today and he could have bagged a couple. Plus he faded second half.

Overall I thought we were the better team today and did not deserve to lose. Did we deserve to win? In my opinion Bruce bottled it and didn't make the changes soon enough. He reacted to the goal but most of the crowd knew we needed to change it 10 minutes before.

I wait to see the Bardsley tackle as some are saying it was a horror tackle (he was subjected to a few himself):undecided:

Pretty good analysis mate. Gyan looks like a more expensive, less consistent and not as good version of Kenwyne Jones in my opinion. Looks overweight and uninterested. Sess is quality, but we need him to be so much more clincal. No good being great on the ball if nothing comes of it.

Catts is not a captain. When we went 1-0 down he lost his head, which proves he does not have the personal maturity or fortitude to be a captain.

Bruce has already stated Ji and Whickam are for the future, I'm assuming he's talking about the championship.

Larsson will never ever be a left winger.

    But apart from that..............
