Floating floor is the technical term for all floors laid over floors that don't need to be nailed down, mate. If you like it lined up that's great
This is awful. I suspect he would have survived in the Prem. For a start as he had a neck/head injury he would have been put in a brace before going on the stretcher, they just throw him on. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...er-Choirul-Huda-dies-collision-team-mate.html
Had five packs of laminate left over so decided to use it in the youngest's room... Edit; I'll be building his bed tomorrow. It'll be going on top on the box (above stairs) to the right
Poor bloke - sad. Sometimes they seem over-cautious in the PL but if things like that can be avoided it's worthwhile.
Thought about steps but decided against it because of space; want to use underneath the bed as storage, was originally going to build draws into it but just using storage tubs on wheels instead now. Bought a plastic step with rubber grips on the bottom; it's about a foot high and can be moved. Will have to see how he copes.
It's not him getting into it you need to worry about, it's him falling out. Are you putting side guards on it?
Just so I've got this right - the 'platform' we can see in the room currently with basket things on it is going to have a normal bed placed on it with storage underneath? Not just some sort of mattress construction placed directly onto the platform? As tobes said, won't that be very risky with regard to falling out?
Jesus lads the kid ain't a toddler These stairs boxes are a curse totally but I built on of those in exactky like described and it was "ok" they are too high but there you go. Plenty of kids in bunk beds n that.
He won't fall out, he's three years old and doesn't fall out his open sided cot bed. Not putting guards on as that makes it higher when he wants to get out
I'm building a bed on top on the box across to the window wall. There will be storage boxes underneath
