    Poor Gareth.

He has to watch quite possibly the worst England team in his existence play at the World Cup whilst he sits at home crying that the Real Madrid fans don't like him.

    Shame.

A sad time for the people of Wales all we have to look forward to now is the ridiculous hype and eventual downfall of England on penalties.

Seriously I think I'm so used to us not going besides the Euros thing that it doesn't bother me that much. I've commented recently that Iook forward to these comps but by the time the 1/4rs arrive I'm bored ****less of it. (This is usually the time you lot lose interest as well).
It would have been good to have a genuine interest again other than interested spectator but **** it I'm not that bothered.

Argentina struggling to even get a play off spot, lose to Equador on Wednesday in an away match on top of a big mountain and they are out.

Haven't won there in over 15 years apparently.

Really hope they make it, would be a shame if they missed out.

The Dutch need to win by 7 goals to go through. Like Lieb, I hope the Argies qualify...always liked them...more so because I can't be arsed with the Brazilians.

Croatia could be missing out too.

Seriously what's worse? ... not making it through qualification and thereby enjoying the tournament as a neutral ... or getting dry humped in humiliating fashion in the tournament with our technical inadequacies and tactical naiivete brutally exposed, yet again?

It's probably better not to qualify, that way you can enjoy the footy and turn off if it's boring.

Best international comp I've watched in ages was that Confederations Cup last time around, good young players and the teams just went at each other and it was short.

They can't win can they...if they didn't qualify they would get even more of a hard time. I always enjoy a World Cup tournament..for me we are a team that has done well if it gets to the last 16. Problem is Gareth Southgate...he's boring and drains the life out of the game. I see the difference in the freedom the Spurs players get on the pitch with Spurs and the restrictions placed upon them when in an England shirt

We're just not good enough, irrespective of the manager. At least we're there though.

The silly **** should get himself fit once in a while!.

I went out to watch this last night though. I'd never do that for an England game, the England national team and the FA can all go and get ****ed. **** them.

I'd much rather see the likes of Wales, N Ireland and even Scotland do well.
