Netflix was good, but they're getting worse. They have fewer non "Netflix original" available every year and prices go up anyway.

Finding I watch less and less Netflix and more and more Hulu as time goes by. Netflix peaked about 4 or 5 years ago and has becoming slowly less of a deal since then. Shame because Netflix has a much better user interface than Hulu, but they don't keep shows around as long any more and the variety is waning.

Not cancelling yet... But might in a few years if the slide continues. Besides the "originals" they really don't have anything that Hulu doesn't but don't have a lot of the things Hulu does.

Then there is Amazon which I get anyway because the Mrs. Has prime. Running out of reasons to keep Netflix.

Perhaps it's different over here but it's just getting better and better here as they compete with Sky and Amazon.

Possibly. I know there are a lot of shows on UK Netflix that US Netflix doesn't get. Most American shows you get when new and we have to wait a year or two to see them... Then there's things like the new Star Trek which won't be on Netflix.

Here I find myself start watching a show and then it gets removed before I finish a season... Gets frustrating. Netflix has some good original shows but seem to be letting go all the outside content.

3 or 4 years ago I'd use Netflix 90% of the time and Hulu/Amazon combined about 10%.

Now it's about 45% Hulu. 50% Netflix. 5% Amazon. All the shows that Netflix are losing seem to be going to Hulu. Netflix is becoming just about originals... Which is fine... Except they tend to cancel them after a few seasons (Marco Polo, Last Kingdom, etc)

Yeah it's daft...we got the new star trek on Netflix. But other stuff never makes it over here.

Thought Last Kingdom was a BBC thing?

I agree on the cancelling thing but I'm quite lucky in that they haven't been shows that I have liked. Netflix need to make sure the shows are of the right quality from the start as too many get binned.

    For Example though I watch.

    House of Cards
    Better Call Saul
    The Crown

    All long runners

Ozark there should be no problem unless it goes downhill fast.

I suppose I'm more likely to get on a show once it's established as well it's not often I go for the new stuff unless it gets great ratings.

Film wise again Netflix suits me, it's quite serious and there isn't that much silly comedy or Superhero stuff.

Season one was. Season two, Netflix bought the rights to produce and distribute it. (Although, I think BBC retained rights to UK distribution).

Might not be a season 3 now.

Occasionally I’ll have 3 things on at same time I wanna record. Never been in situation with 6 though.

A couple of regular shows I watch are on same time every week so only takes a film to be on or another new show etc. Most good shows are shown between 8-10 so not uncommon for few to be on at same time.

It gets better. The acting gets better too, I remember after the first few episodes thinking it was pretty poor acting... A few episodes later I wasn't thinking that anymore (unless I got used to it).

I think that's quite normal for a lot of shows though. Takes a while for actors to settle into roles.

Heck of a job you've done there mate. <ok> Fitting your own carpets takes some skill.

Not sure about stainless steel handrail although that's probably because I get electric shocks off everything even when I shut the car door <laugh> I'd go for something like this, best of both worlds

The petrol trick got them loose. Trouble is I now have a door with great hinges, and no house!
