I know a lot of people here rate Matip, but he's really not good enough either. He's just the best of a truly awful bunch who make him look better than he is.

I've said the last few games, most of the season so far actually, his form has really dipped

For me it's the lack of quality elsewhere defensively bringing him down but he has to take responsibility as well

That ball was played through out midfield and defence on the ground. We are strong on the break, why do we have to commit every man and his dog forward When we are winning?? I just don't get it.

 

How can Klopp let that continue? We just cannot rely on the attack to save that awful defence all the time can we?

At least he was a freebee unlike VvD who conceded a seriously sloppy pen yesterday. Perhaps we'll think again before we offer £70m.

Because it's our only choices now. That one had nothing to do with Klopp.. ..other than giving himself these Muppets as the only cbs to select.

 

Could that be because VvD doesn't really want to be playing for Soton though?
